1. So is James Bond. Gentleman is different from Assexual. In fact they tend to be smooth seductive individuals. Gentlemen Clubs exist for a reason.
It's debatable if Negi would find Bond to be a true gentleman, though. I can see him thinking of Bond as a hero, and eventually, after his naivete is curbed down, accepting he does things that need to be done, but I don't think he'd ever appreciate Bond's way around women.

How about a crossover where Negi ends up in Tales series verses (Symphonia, Abyss, Graces, Vesperia, Xillia).

Just finished Abyss last week, so the plot's still fresh in my mind. Not sure what you expect Negi to do in there.

Also, are we talking about manga-end Negi, when he's urber-powerful or pluck him out from somewhere before in the time-line ... like say when he gets assigned his new 'task'.

...Negima X Monster Girl Quest. For some reason, having just finished Gabriel Blessing's Shirou Emiya: Erogame Protagonist, that is the first crossover idea that came to mind. It probably has something to do with the number of girls in both series, and I use that term relatively loosely.

I have couple rough, rough ideas as to how he'd end up in the MGQ world... but other than that nothing, though I feel like bringing Eva along with him would lead to even more shenanigans.

...or maybe fuse the two, and have the Negima girls (the human ones) be various monsters he encounters. Hmm... that idea deserves pondering.

I was thinking of manga-end Negi being thrown into the Tales verse through some freak accident and losing his memory and most of his high-end powers. Starting him out with his martial arts prowess and a small portion of his original magical prowess seems good. He'd still be fairly strong, but his uber stuff (Magia Erebea, etc.) could be gradually regained as the "mystery" behind him is solved. A new end-antagonist in the Tales verse would likely be needed seeing how uber manga-end Negi is.

His base form is already ridiculously strong after he mastered ME. You can't really take that away because it is a passive ability that grants bonus endurance and regen even before he does anything.

...All of my HATE.

This is perhaps the worst way to crossover. What is the point of bringing someone like Negi in 'verse if you are just going to turn him into "McRandom-Powerful-Amnesiac-With-Mysterious-Past-â„–12314".

There are plenty of other ways to keep powerful character from breaking the setting: you can always make Negi wary of using his full power - he is certainly savvy enough to know just how dangerous a powerful unknow is to any political landscape.

You can make him reluctant to solve every problem and help everybody - play up his traits as a "Teacher" and "Mentor" to new generation instead of as a "Hero"... etc.

Ok, so I decided to take a look at the Monster Musume crossovers for a bit on FF.net. And while one person made a suggestion of crossing over that with Love Hina, I have to wonder if we couldn't cross it with Negima. Here me out on this one.

End of Negima, we have Negi's plan to effectively integrate the magical world with the regular world to help put life on Mars. What if the Liminals are a part of that integration process? What if Kimihito (protagonist of Monster Musume) lived in an area within Mahora's immediate sphere of influence, thus putting him in a prime location for his girls to show up? And what if some of the bureaucrats involved with the Interspecies Exchange Program are some of Negi's direct co-conspirators?

Simply put, crossing over these two series makes total fucking sense.

So stop me if you've heard this one before.

Tsukuyomi, Harime Nui, and Toga Himiko all walk into a bar...
