I cant really say Mana is hotter than Motoko... but I will say this, she is very hot, I'd consider them on different plateaus.
Mana carries her self more stoically than Motoko, is in even more control of her emotions yet does not let it afect her femininity, she has that nice 'cafÚ con leche' tan going for her, marvellous sharpshooter skills and does know her way around a shinto shrine.
Motoko's strenght comes from the Shinmeiryuu... and as I've come to interpret it, the strenght of one's heart, and the desire to protect others (especially loved ones). While she is beautiful, she has much to learn about life (tho in time we notice her growth).
Kanako's beauty lies in the mystery about her, strong and sometimes vicious, she does let herself be beautiful to (try to) pull her beloved to her.

Motoko and Kanako are both extremely hot, with attractive personalities (once Motoko gets over her 'Hate men' stance anyway) as well as attractive bodies.
But Mana. Takes. The. Cake.
Swordsgirls and goth chicks with incestuous inclinations are good and fine, but nothing beats a tanned Miko with a sniper rifle and twin Desert Eagles. Nothing.

It is almost scary how in control of herself Mana is. While she obviously still has feelings, they don't cripple her like they did Motoko. Add in to that the fact that she has badass gun skills (and it's implied that she can smackdown physically too), and she's the quintessential "sex fantasy who can kill you," which rather oddly seems to be all the rage among us fanboys.
And of course, in her class Mana is the second-tallest (behind Kaede), and has the second-largest pair of breasts (behind Chizuru).

Honestly, I have no interest in this series. I got through Love Hina through sheer force of will, and a big part of it came because I knew the series was only 14 volumes long.
Negima!, to me, really just reads like Love Hina with a younger, spell-casting Keitarou and about three to five times as many (potential) girls after him. I've read a couple volumes and have zero interest in going further.
