you receive 100 Stamina every 50 Spars and 250 Stamina every 250 Spars. every spar costs 5 Stamina. Make your own conclusions.

tl;dr version - Stamina in > Stamina out, but the bonuses crazy mentioned are nice to keep in your pocket for when you really need an extra boost and sparring is something to do with that leftover Stamina anyway.
