New Mangatraders Site

#1
OK, I just found this this morning and a quick search of the forums doesn't suggest that is known around here yet, so.

There's a new Managtraders site at mangatraders.org I don't know if it's run by the same people, but unlike a lot of the other sites that deal in manga these days this ones focused on downloading the manga so you can keep it, it also keeps volumes of manga, not just chapters to make things easier.

I'm going to avoid it like the plague until other people have tested the waters.

Similarly named sites popping up out of nowhere with no fanfare are often scam sites.

It exited beta in january and was in beta before that, it's just I didn't find it until now

I may check it out, if they have any thing that I follow. But I'm not following much that could be considered active currently.

I *do* however like the idea of downloading... It is a pain doing so on other sites, as for most I have to go to each page to get the image, then download so can read locally, as I do not read on-line.

Um, PC, Mangatraders isn't exactly new, there used to be a mangatraders.com/, but that got hacked and had to be closed down and this is a replacement site. What will make you really happy is that where possible they offer scanlations of volumes from the tokobun (sp), which tend to be higher quality, have a few color pages, authors notes and omakes

I know that... but way back when I was last on the old site, I do not remember seeing download options.

^ This. I hadn't visited in a long time and was also unaware that they now offered downloads.
