Thanks for the information!

Now I only have to save up all that pet food... <_<

Basically, yeah. I wasn't even trying, and I've picked up ten Pet Points in four 'Cons. You could probably pick up a few more if you were deliberately aiming for it.

And if you're okay at farming Ryo, but don't have the patience for getting stuff from Pachinko directly, there's always the Marketplace, though that's still a bit of a gouge even with the 'New Stuff Mania,' no longer hiking prices quite so high.

My alt Derltes has joined TFF II for the time being. Thanks for helping him out with HQ.

No problem. Glad to have you.

We're expecting to start our next map on the 20th, if anyone else would like to join. We can currently take up to eight new villagers. Pass this along, readers, if you know any non-TFF who could use a shot at the Gas Station within the next week or so.

On a personal note: Well, I'm done with Clock Tower. Anyone got a minimum stat list for Portal of Awesome?

I'm currently level 20(Flipping Out), 17(Dance), 16(Everything else).

But since those enemies have +110 HP, I'm not sure that's enough.

I've Cleared PoA (Except for boss) with Flipping 7, Dance 9, and AC 11, FA 13, GC 11, TP 11, and WR 12.

You should be fine. especially if you're taking advantage of the +2 levels from allies and themes.

I cleared glow-slinging ages ago...lets see, my stats are Flipping 15, Dance 66, AC 23, FA 25, GC 23, TP 23, WR 25

Just remember frame advantage and weighted weapons are your best friends and you'll be fine ^_^

Huh. Well, I took your advice to go for it.

Lost a few duels, but I've now got Unified Field Theory and 8 wins out of 11 on PoA.

So, I should be ready for the 5th Idol by this Con, and hopefully done w/ Glowslinging by next Sunday.

Mh... okay, I'm looking for some advice.
Started playing again relatively recently and am currently in Season 2 (which I'm probably going to stay a while, as I want to loop as Top 1 player for that season), White Eye, Jounin-rank. I just finished the Reaper-content today, and have most of the easy/regular content (ie Shop equipment, Season 1 Arena stuff, etc). There's still a few allies I could level up.
My maximum range (without Jutsu) is 16, strength +3/+4, 1 free success and a little about 20 in Gen/Nin/Tai (including bonus levels), so from what I've seen Monochrome and Wasteland missions are way out of my league.

Any suggestions how I should proceed best?

Actually, Wasteland will be very doable for you. The allies there teach lots of +Range, -Strength jutsus, but since Strength bonuses/penalties don't apply unless they are unaffected by Wasteland (see Bones' Rock On: Spinal Tap for example) that minus doesn't matter.

Really, within your first 3-4 seasons with each bloodline you will want to:

-make Sannin
-finish Wasteland
-finish Reaper/Monochrome
-Get 10, then 15 Arena Wins

I'd say finish Reaper first, then do Wasteland, and then Monochrome. Also, make sure you get the Tote (Right/Anonymous 2 & Lisa Lisa 2)

Hm... in that case I'd need someone to bingo me, so I can start the wasteland (and get Snakeman). You wouldn't happen to have the time/stamina for that, would you?

I thought wasteland missions in general were harder, but it seems the ones I looked up where on the upper end of the scale, rather than the norm.

Question; is there a more up-to-date wiki than <a href='http://bvs.wikidot.com/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>this one</a> seems to be?

What you can do with Resource Points, for example. Or Billy TV. Neither's explained in the Wiki much, if at all. (Though it seems BillyTV is pretty new...)

RP has a few uses. In no particular order:

It can be used instead of ryo to buy extra Mahjong/Flower Wars/SUPERFAIL games.

Also used to get extra balls in <a href='http://bvs.wikidot.com/partyhouse:pachinko' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Pachinko</a>.

50 RP is used to enter <a href='http://bvs.wikidot.com/billycon' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>BillyCon</a>.

20 RP to enter <a href='http://bvs.wikidot.com/candyween' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Candyween</a>. And another 100 RP for the special 'Candyween Bash' action.

As for BillyTV, it's rather odd, and I can't really explain it all that well. Maybe someone else can. >_<

Hmm. Let's see how well this turns out.

You are auditioning for the different roles against other players. It doesn't matter which role you want (K-Dog's role doesn't do anything functionally different from Cici's, for example) except you will compete against other aspirants to your chosen role. However to actually Audition, you have to complete all the challenges first. Once you do, whatever skills you have remaining are used and the total from that is your Finale score.

-You have a point pool equal to your amount of Awesome to spend on skills beforehand. Buy whatever skills you like, but remember that you need enough skills to pass the Challenges AND compete for the Finale if you get that far.

-Each Challenge has a Target Score and a Max Ability number. Quite simply meet or beat the Target Score to pass the Challenge and gain the reward, but the number of ability "dice" you can use are capped at that Max Ability.

-You can attempt the Challenges in any order.

-Choose your abilities to use. You can mix and match abilities if you like. You don't have to use the max amount of abilities if you don't want to.

-Abilities used up are lost, pass or fail.

I don't have a good strategy for this, really. I tried for a mixture of Precision and Style, but the best I could get was only 100 or so on the Finale. I suspect that buying a fair amount of cheap skills like Atmosphere and Diction is a good idea due to Creating Quickteams (+10 per die on Finale), but I haven't been able to test it.

Billy Live is really Awesome-intensive, so don't expect to get far until you have 800 Awesome at least. There's no downside to trying it out at lower levels though. I think that covers it, anything I missed or other questions?

Any tips for Hero Quest? I'm doing alright using Shift to Drift, and occasionally passing missions without it, but I'd like to improve my performance.

The Jungle Missions, I assume? You're gonna have to build up your Drift often. If you're still looking for Tarnished Wheels building your Drift to +10/+12 is usually enough.

-Undo Megamissions
-Do 5-6x Tai-AAs with Billy 3/Stalker 3/Pinky 3 (not that they help on Jungle, but saving Stamina helps)
-Turn on Megamissions
-??
-Profit.

Or keep Megamissions on and go to +20 if you're lazy/really want the Range.

If you're going after the Monument missions, you'll need the full +88.

Outside of that? Turn on The Flash and Love Only Yourself Themes, and remember to eat Red Fox Ramen (+3 levels on missions). If you can respec Awesome for +Levels/Range, do so.

There's really not much else to do but slog through. Oh, and if you can find ways to repair the Pocketwatch using more of the medium/large wheels as opposed to the small ones do so. Small gears show up less often.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I wasn't drastically unprepared for this.

Before I forget, is there anyone looking for a village? TFF Zero isn't in the best of shape, and while we can keep going for awhile, I'd rather fix the problem now instead of letting it get worse.

Speaking of the village, there was one very "nice" guy who joined the village for 2 days and then left, after taking pretty much all Kaiju drops and some essences.

Always a risk when you give free permanents, which I'll point out was your idea.

That reminds me, is there still a deadbeat player list? I wouldn't mind adding sussanoo to the list.

Hm... maybe I should look into another village merger... That's a good way to get members, and I've got enough monster drops to bribe them.

kelenas

Fair enough, doesn't mean I'm not pissed at it happening.

I already sent a message to the leader of his new village, though, so there's that. Said leader also suggested reporting sussanoo on the game's forum, though I don't know where exactly would be best.

I have to say, this is almost entirely your fault. There's a reason that permanent item permissions are rarely given out/given to those that are trustworthy. So shit like that doesn't happen.

Faith in the playerbase, have too much you do. :p

That said, what village are you in?
