NGE/Tenchi Crossover

I know I'm gonna sound like a complete idiot for challenging someone to write this, but I can't get it out of my head and I have no time to write. So hear goes:

I challenge someone, anyone, to write a story in which Tenchi Masaki dies and Shinji Ikari becomes all the girls' new love interest!

Requirements:

1. Tenchi must die and stay dead. No bringing him back to life, no ghost. Die and stay dead

2. It's gotta be after End of Evangelion, but no Third Impact. Shinji has to have saved the world and become an International Hero

3. No Auska or Ritsuko appearances. Misato can appear, but she shouldn't be romantically involved with Shinji. She should have a big sister/mother-like influence on Shinji. Any other girl from the series is acceptable

4. Shinji gets a harem

Look, write it yourself; it looks like you want something particular, and asking someone else to write it is kinda... especially "because I don't have time".

And, honestly, the idea is pretty horrible from where I stand. There's no real connection and the entirety of the idea is to have Shinji get it on with the Tenchi Muyo women. I don't see any kind of structure to justify the thing.

And then there's the question, not only of how do you kill off Tenchi (and keep him dead), but why would the TM cast allow something like the plot of Evangelion to occur? Any one of them could more or less stop the whole thing either trivially or with not all that much effort. You've got Choushin, Tenchi himself, ships with light-hawk wings, ect ect. And then the entire cast is connected to ungodly political heavyweights, so if they even decide to stay (Tenchi is more or less what's holding all of them to Earth), and there's something that through a plot deus ex machina they can't handle, the rest of the galaxy could.

Well, no. That's the point of a challenge, it's not like anyone has to accept it if they don't like the premise.

Although lack of time is a weak excuse - lacking sufficient mojo to carry through works, but lack of time merely requires bending of the space-time continum into a moebius strip.*



* Which is probably the only explanation for what happened to the last eight years or so of my life. Clearly it's only been four years and I simply went through them twice in order to have sufficient time for this crippling fanfiction addiction of mine.

It was more the tone - "someone please write this, 'cause I need to read it! But I can't write it because I don't have time." Between that and the idea itself... I admit to perhaps being a bit harsher than I would've been otherwise on that point.
