Nobilis, is you haven't heard of it, is a diceless RPG in which you play one of the titular Nobilis, or Nobles. They're also called Powers, as in the Power of Guns, the Power of Strife, etc.

These Powers embody an aspect of creation, any aspect. There is a Power of Death. There is a Power of Television. There is a Power of Internet Forums. These Powers are all unique, what Estate one is a Power of, they alone are the Power of it.

These Powers are defined by 4 attributes, rated from 0 to 5. Aspect, which is their physical and mental strength. Domain, which is how easy it is to use the power of their Estate. Realm, which determines their control over their Chancel, a private world. Spirit, which measures their ability to use miscellaneous magic that all Nobilis have access to.

Humanity, to the Nobles, are nothing at all. A Noble would think nothing of killing them, if they attacked first, stood in their way, insulted them, or even caused the Noble to fall in love with them. Whether they meant to do any of these or not is irrelevant.

However, even these godlike beings have enemies. These enemies can be other Powers(there are 6 factions; Heaven, Hell, Light, Dark, Wild, and Independent), mythological creatures on par with a Power(although these are very rare), or the alien Excrucians, beings from outside Creation who want to destroy all of Creation, and are on par or greater than the Powers they seek to destroy to achieve their aim.

The game is interesting, and creatively done. 2nd Edition is out of print, but I <a href='http://www.mediafire.com/?dck1tj005h78c15' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>provide</a> for the interested.
