Don't you recall?? They got blown away by Bartholomew Kuma, a Shichibukai KNOWN for asking people where they want to be sent (he did so to Perona back at Thriller Bark).

Furthermore, he probably has a real respect for Zoro, and by extension Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats.? Sending them places where they could level up isn't that surprising.

Once a pirate, always a pirate.? But also, if Kuma knows about any World Government Crimes?, his self-professed Morals of Justice? might encourage him to aid the people who can right those wrongs.
Sanji.
It could come with a twist but until then...

I just don't like hand-out power-ups, and they've already found themselves in some of the characters hands in past chapters. It hasn't been too shifting since it's with the less combat oriented character(or least powerful) but now it's leading toward upping the powerhouses outside of the routine that has come to be the norm. I can forgive them, but I'll pout as it's not of my preference, and believe that Oda will keep them temporary or realistically( Ha, rubberman and living
skeleton) limited by drawbacks. But I suppose these Next Level types, that will apparently come in droves in the New World, are a decent balance.

The point on Kuma seems likely and it's something I'd like to see. With the rogue or at least rebelling Shichibukai Jinbei already causing trouble, possibly having Kuma come to aid the fight against the WG would be impressive. Though I think those Morals of Justice? are likely going to have him turn himself away from the conflict once it starts, to wait for his own sentencing, or punish himself. I wonder where he would like to go?

@Bucks: It has always been entertaining. :sisi:

For the Kuma bit, I question Luffy being sent to Hancock's island. Granted things turned out exceptionally well, but there was still an extremely high chance of his demise on that island. If he wasn't retarded and hadn't played the NICE GUY card so well, he'd have been utterly screwed.

Decent overall. I just hope this doesn't take too long. I'm particularly surprised Hancock can keep such a straight face when Luffy has his arms wrapped around her. :snigger:

I wonder what the odds are that Sanji will run into Mr. 2 again. Maybe have a rematch?

... That makes so much sense it's not funny.

...

Aw who am I kidding. Hell yes it is!

Crap... I can't remember what fate befell him in the side story... I recall collecting the members of Sand-man's organization and then...

Also I find it lulzy how Oda specifically put both a baby Seal and a Puppy in Hancock's way just to kick. Too bad a club wasn't involved...

They had a brief showing back when it was revealed that Shanks was on the ship of Gold Roger, I believe right after the CP9 arc ended. In the same chapter the entire crew got a bounty or bounty boost (Poor Chopper, despite the fact that taking monster into consideration he's easily the 4th most dangerous. Arguabley the third, but that's pushing things), and Shanks met up with Whitebeard. I think. I'd have to check. :huh.:

Something I just realised.

Look at the Shichibukai silhouette.

See it? Good.

Now look at this picture of the Yonkou.

See anything familiar? So what do you think they are? Twins?

Probably a younger/older brother. I was thinking the same thing about Sanji falling into the island of transvestites. I miss Bone Grey, oddly enough. He was a decent person in the end eventhough he was once an enemy and if I'm not mistaken, he got along well with Sanji. So I want Sanji to meet Bone Grey. Wonder what happened to Brook, Zoro, Chopper, Robin and Usopp... maybe next chapter.

Well they're also going to rescue Bon Clay also if they're saving Ace if I remember right.

I was just talking to my friend and he remarked that the pirate teams in the New World are probably mobilizing to take advantage of the marked increase of Marine force that are all focused at Impel Down, leaving the rest of the places vulnerable. Commence operation Loot and Plunder...

Done and fondly reminiscining.

The Water 7/CP9 arc is pretty damn amazing. Right up there with Skypeia.

Aside from the obligatory nod to the LuffyvLucci fight I think SanjivJyabura was damn awesome. Giasecando made a pretty awesome AMV of it, I think. ZorovKaku tied with FrankyvFukurou, and Chopper's Monster Point as an Epic highlight, followed.

What were your favorites?

I was rather fond of Luffy vs. Usopp. Though he lost, he also happened to be insanely wounded when it started, and put up a good show regardless.

Monster was awesome. Came out of nowhere, but still awesome, and managed to put Chopper as easily in the top 4 strongest Strawhats.

Which makes his bounty all the more unfortunate. :snigger:

Oh, and Usopp's rooftop scene akin to Gurren Laggun was epic too.

BELIEVE IN ME, WHO BELIEVES IN YOU!!!

Or considering his earlier quote, it would probably be more "BELIEVE IN LUFFY, WHO BELIEVES IN YOU!" :sisi:

Lol;

"Shoot her to death, but don't kill her!"

Epic lulz right there.

Huh... Apparently Haki can do a lot of things just by having a whole lot of it...

Breaking the blasted ship...

The Haki is strong with this one.
Fixed.

And yes, the haki is strong with that one. Not surprising seeing as it's Shanks.

Man can make a SeaKing wet itself with just a stare.

One armed badass is Badass. :sisi:

Amazing "Vigor and Drive."

I'm tempted to switch to Shanks...

Okay, you know how, generally, One Piece Fanart contains the most amount of epic you can find anywhere?

I need to find the original for this:

Seriously. It's pretty obvious it wasn't drawn by Oda, and it looks freaking awesome. I want to see if I can find the full thing.
