Finally, after almos 2 years in development, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations for PS2 is out. There's a shitload of information concerning changes in plot and all that. Also, there have been many, many surprises:

-The prologue of OG2 is now a playable stage, and we get to use Axel and the Soulgain against the Beowulf. Also, it is hinted that Kyosuke from the Shadow Mirror universe is actually an Einst.
-Raul and Fiona (from R) have each their own Excellence frame.
-The mechas and characters from SRW Compact 3 appear in the bonus stages.
-Tha Bartool plot (from the OVA) and the drama CD are included (we knew that already), but the best part is that Shu and his Granzon joins (for a few stages) our team.

I really hope it gets translated. I'll cry if it doesn't.
it might sense the OVA and TV series are getting a US release...*cries* Damn it Bandai Visual 50 bucks for 2 eps subbed only.

I think it has a chance of getting translated since it has no licensing problems like the other SRW games (crossing fingers and praying reallllllllllly hard :hail: )

With the TV series licenced, the chances of Atlus picking it are high, but not in the near future. I might get the game now, but I'd like to wait for some months to see what happens.

An Atlus spokesperson said that their chances of translating it are slim, because Banpresto and Bandai underwent a partial fusion recently, and Bandai and Atlus have been in bad relations since the last SRW game they cooperated on.

Banpresto was originally an offshoot of Bandai, but was mostly independent, although they cooperated closely for several games. But recently Banpresto went through some financially tough times, and was forced to do a merger.

Okay, since I'm basically more or less new towards the SRT stuff (I only offically gotten SRT OG2 and had to emu for OG1 due to GH's asking about his NGE/SRT crossover a long time ago) so I have to ask this.

What was the last SRW game that Atlus and Bandai made?

I could try to get the info on wiki, but lately wiki's not wanting to work with me here on connectivity and such.

One of the SNES ones IIRC - either EX or Masoukishin. After that episode, the original characters from Masoukishin, with only Ryuune, Masaki and Shuu's exception, vanished.

Which infuriates me to no end, seeing how I was a big fan of Saphine Grace...

To be fair, Wendolo made a comeback from SRW4, but...

your thinking Winkysoft GH, they threw a big hissy after the rest of the other Elemental Lords showed up in @ Gaiden and sued Banpresto.
