Recently bought SMT4, and while I haven't had a chance to really play, I thought that trying to get a Persona game going.

Right now just trying to see how much interest in this there is. Anyone want to run a role play with mystery, school life, shadows, and spirits?

I'd be up for it. Frell, I even had this idea for a not-quite-the-same setting...

Point to it being that the Personas, instead of being just spirits that the heroes channeled to use their unique powers, were weapons that would then transform into spirits to fight properly. (Kinda like the animation version, but also not quite. Also very much Zodiac themed.)

What's the motif of this one?

Traditionally, it would be the Major Arcana, which I was planning to use.

Each character chooses one of the Arcana as their character theme.

There will probably need to be some pre-game establishment of each individual's story, so we can actually develop some interesting stories.

Arcana Meanings, for those who want to research a bit:

Feel free to pitch character concepts. The more work we put into this before starting, the better the roleplay will be.

Well, lack of interest aside, it's become clear to me that I would need to put in a lot of work to make this an interesting story, as well as find a way to deal with loss of participation if this ever gets going.

I'm going to wait until the fiction competition concludes before really investing myself into this, but I've got a couple of ideas to flesh this out and develop it into something that could be really interesting and engaging, and a lot of fun as well!

Feedback and ideas on how to make this work are always appreciated. Regardless, I'll try to have some more information posted some time in November!
