Basically the idea is to have Ranma with the same power Hyouma Muroga had in Basilisk - a permanently active Basilisk Eye that can only be used at night.

He'll essentially be blind during the day, ad most of the night, as opening his eyes would invariably kill whoever is attacking him.

Now, here's the catch - when he gets to the Tendos, he finds himself able to open his eyes without lethal effects happening. Later, he otices this happens only at one specific time: when Kasumi is looking at him...

Basically, Ranma has the Basilisk Eye, while Kasumi has te Still Eye which can shut down all other techniques, including his eye bloodline. It's Gennosuke/Oboro all over again, just in a much less tragic setting.

Thoughts?

I like the ideea, never done before and in my opinion the skills fit somewhat they're personality, more so Kasumi than Ranma (Ranma could gain the eye from one of Genma's stupid training execises lol)

Oh and another thing: Think Ranma, Basilisk Eye, Village full of angry amazons, Ranma opens eyes .....

Good thing his eyes are sealed shut in the day, eh?

When you say 'sealed', do you mean that they are physically sealed shut and that he cannot even open them if he wanted to, or just that he always keeps them closed out of personal choice?

In Basilisk it's inferred that Hyouma's eyes don't work at all in he day, and he can't open them even if he wanted to. I'm guessing it's a seal of sorts.

Ahh okay, I've never seen Basilisk before so I wouldn't know, but that clears things up a little bit then. Oh and I like the new avi, it's most amusing, do you like my whole Kyuubi theme that I've got going? That picture I've got in my signature was a bitch to edit but I like how it turned out.

Lol, nice.

By the way, Hyouma is naturally blind, it seems. He can only see when using the Basilisk Eye at night.
