Like I wrote at one point, Reality has a way to fix the messes created by chakra-users with the ability to do crazy conceptual bullshit, such as its nigh-instantaneous correction of anomalies to the continuous structure of spacetime caused whenever a Void user annihilates time or distance. Normally the same would apply to "the probability of Shinkirou Kougon defeating Kurosaki Sayoko", but Reality tends to give little fucks when it comes to the Guardian of the Silver Key. Besides, the probability was fairly small as it was, so making it zero doesn't really make a difference in the grand scheme of things; Reality won't break if Kougon can't beat Sayoko.
Sayoko could make herself immortal through Kuuton, but the only reason Reality would accept that is because the Silver Key already makes her so. She can't die from natural causes (including diseases, poisons and pathogens in general), and it won't let her kill herself. Sayoko can only die if killed by another party or when the Silver Key decides it's had enough of her and wishes to move to its next Guardian.

I've been wondering about Kitsune specialisations after doing a read of the story recently. Would it be correct to assume that the different types of Kitsune are more akin to sub-species or closer to breeds than a kitsune with an affinity to a certain specialization? There was a moment when one of the Identical Higashiyama twins had said that mountain kitsune have a strong resistance to alcohol, and I remember seeing on the wiki that ocean kitsune have large lung capacities(Shionzaki's old page I recall). So do specialisations affect more than just a kitsune's ability to use techniques belonging to specific systems?
I just got an idea for an Omake, though it's too much of a drag to write right now (mainly because I don't remember their characterizations very well).
The concept is that in an alternate future, Kougon had to team up with Sayuri. This Kougon has managed to expand his repertory enough to add a few more SDAs, including Kakuton. So, they create a combination jutsu, the Radiant Star of Destruction, or Pretty Star, where Kougon provides the Fusion&Raiton and Sayuri provides Fission&Katon.
This Omake would include Kougon's attempts to have Sayuri use his name for the jutsu, or at least something more dignified than 'Pwetty Star'.
