Ranma ½ Questions, questions.

Okay. Let's assume you get the chance to ask one, maybe two questions about the series to Rumiko herself. What would it/they be?

I'm talking about questions you'd expect an actual honest to god answer to, mind. Other than that, it could be anything. Clarification on something that happened in the series, a what if scenario, something that wasn't shown but really should have been... That sort of stuff. Nothing like "What would happen if Ranma got pregnant," because she's already expressed her viewpoint on things like that.

My list of questions I'd like to ask roughly boils down to:

What would happen if Shampoo was unable to marry Ranma? Or more accurately, what do her tribe's laws say happens to her should she fail?

Just how did Genma and Nodoka meet?

Why don't Jusenkyo curse victims try to get cured straight away?

What was Mrs Tendo's actual given name?

To be honest, I have a lot of questions about Mrs Tendo. Would she have approved of the engagement, what would her opinion of Ranma be... I'd want to try to get a feel for her personality.

Would Nodoka have considered the curse unmanly if she'd found out about it differently? My answer would be yes, but you never know. We only saw how she found out, after all.

If the Spring of Drowned Man would cure the male cast members, why did the Spring of Drowned Octopus mix with Taro's curse?

From there I'd just ask whichever came to mind first.

1) Why didn't the Amazons realise that something was up with Ranma and Genma when they arrived with the Jusenkyo Guide?

2) How is it that Akane didn't realise that Ryoga is P-chan? She's not that good an actress to pretend that she doesn't know.

3) On Inuyasha, did anything really significant happen in the three years between the destruction of the Shikon no Tama and Kagome's permanent return to the past?

4) (as a joke) What are you willing to tell us about your next major series? And do you think it will continue the pattern of increasing in length? Urusei Yatsura was 366 chapters, Ranma 1/2 was 407, and Inuyasha was 558. Will the next series hit 600 chapters? 700? Or will it break the trend and possibly even *decrease* in length?

1) Who was the monk who created the Japanese Spring of the Drowned Man, how did he do it, was he human, and what was his connection with Jusenkyo, if any?

2) How did Kiima know that the spring she made by immersing Akane in it would have Akane's exact physical form as a template?

3) How old was Rouge when she received her curse, how did she receive it, and is her apparent personality swapping a result of her curse, or is she just crazy?

4) What else does Shampoo do in her spare time besides entering various martial arts contests and hiding inside arm-wrestling machines?

4) What is Principal Kuno's first name?

5) What is Shampoo's father's first name, and what happened to him?

6) How did Ukyo get the money to open her own shop?

7) What happened to Dr. Tofu?

8) Ranma is seen reading on several occasions...what is he reading?

9) Herb is introduced as the Musk prince...is his father still alive, then? And does he have any siblings? Herb also says they interview female martial artists who live nearby in regards for marriage...what happens to Musk women? And who are these martial artists?

10) If Saffron is a member of the royal family, are there any others? Or is Saffron, continually reborn, the royal family in and of himself?

Hmm...that's probably enough for now.
