Working on a new idea, and for a side thing in it I wanted to know if there was a known range of her diary? could it read a mind in Tokyo from Mahora? don;t want to write anything to get burned for later...

Also, they need to be in the same frame of time; it only works on current thoughts, after all.

Sadly, I don't know what its range is. There has to be one, though, otherwise she could just find Nagi Springfield really easily.

no, Yue was a unique case.

To my knowledge she stayed with the adventurers because she heard about the two artifacts that would improve her patio item and wanted to get them before moving on.

Range might not be specified... but mtero has a point she could find Negi without any trouble or any of the others.

The range of the effect isn't stated anywhere; it seems to be plot-based. We know it doesn't have to be line of sight because during the whole scramble for the Ala Alba badges she used it to specifically keep -out- of sight. On the other hand, she's also never used it against someone more than a few kilometers away at most, so there's no way to tell if she has a maximum range or anything.

Realistically, to keep plotholes from popping up (Nagi for one) there would be some sort of maximum to the range, but what range that is is entirely up to the author at the moment.

Collette crashed into Yue just as Yue was appearing from Fate's teleportation trap. Collette's wand went off accidentally, discharging an incomplete memory spell.
