Well, I've been working on a game for RM2K/3, and since I haven't gone any far with the mapping, I guess I can try to amuse meself with... novelizing it.

Anyway, the plot is pretty interesting. A long time ago, a man named Vialn took over the land, conquering it and subjugating it. (Yeah, he's a BBG.) Then, recently, a group of heroic adventurers killed him and left the ruling to the people... who ended in the direction of collapse.

Now, a young lad named Axel is travelling across the land, in a quest. What is this quest? This...

...is a quest for respect.

Coming some day, once I get myself with enough wont to write it.

Hmm, not sure what game you're speaking about as I'm horrible at 'translating' initials such as 'RM2K/3 but the idea of a character on a quest for respect, regardless of the fandom, interests me greatly and I would be eager to see this fic once you had some of it written.

It's RPG Maker 2003. He's basically making a game.

Oh, yeah, this reminds me of something - I can't make sprites worth, well, turd. If anyone out there can sprite, may I please have your help?

Also, what do you guys think of the plot?

Ahhh, got ya. Now I get it. Thanks GH  . Hmm it seems, H-man, that you like to make your own worlds more as opposed to go off already established ones like most fanfic authors do as the manga you appear to be writing and this are the only things you've put up on this board and they are both pretty much completely open worlds with a fresh slate for you to work with.

Well it's a little hard to say because you haven't exactly told us what the plot is yet, all we know is that a character named Axel is on quest for respect across a recently liberated land. And while I said that I liked the concept that's all it is, a concept. We'll need a bit more if you want to ask us what we think of the plot.

Well, it's not my fault I'm good enough to make such great plots. (Besides, most of my stuff is incomplete CHAPTERS, so...) That's what I get for being a crossbreed between a writer, a roleplayer, a shoujofan, and... um... 'someone-with-a-lot-of-imagination'.

No no, I don't want a full chapter or anything just a full synopsis or something similiar, no more than a full 50 words on the story and the plot is all I ask.

Okay... if you WANT me to pretty much reveal the big plot twist that comes near the end...

Although I bet I can put up a character list.

No, no, NO. I'm not asking for the whole storyline or big plot twists all I want is a synopsis similiar to the one I would get before clicking on the story in FF.net, or one that I would read on the backside of the videogame box, or one that I would read on the inside cover of a hardcover book. Do you understand my emphasis?

Okay...

Ahem.

-=-=-=-=-

In a very far, far away land called Jorain, a man named Vialn took over, conquering and subjugating the populace. His realm of terror was unsurpassed by any, and the people cowered in fear.

Then came the Holy Adventurers.

Bringing with them the powers of Holiness, Love, and whatever else, they fought bravely against Vialn, culminating into the storm to his fortress that ended in history as two things.

The first one was the freedom of the populace, something they didn't have for years and years and years.

The second one can be better described as The World's Biggest Fuck-Up.

Given how NONE of them had absolutely any capacity for knowing anything about governments, they left the people to fend for themselves, but the problem lied in the excessive amount of possible governors, leading to a horrible bloodshed... which was unknown to them.

A few years have passed since then, and the heroes' work has pretty much led the populace to disaster.

And now, there is only one hope left...

..even if it isn't what one would expect.

-=-

Axel, a young swordsman who was amiss during the wars, has returned to his homeland, only to find it in chaos. Heading out to face his destiny, he recruits a band of misfits in order to take revenge on the Holy Adventurers... for reasons he keeps to himself.

Following him are Marcus, a Dragon Knight and faithful servant; Eugene, a bard with a mysterious aura surrounding him; Reiko, a wizard who once met the Holy Adventurers, but was filled with distaste for them; Dorian, a magician who once traveled with the Holy Adventurers, but who left them for strange reasons; Leurth, a knight who cannot find peace; Zanan, a mysterious armored being; and Mielt, a young sorceress who is a bit messed in the head.

This is their quest. This is the quest of a longing spirit...

Ah much better, that's what I want to see. Alright so for my official opinion.

Ahem.

I think it is a good idea and a nice change form the norm that it was the 'Holy Adventurers' who screwed everything up and are the ultimate (I assume) 'bad guys' of the story. I definitely think you should take this whole 'many possible governors (read as: tyrants)' thing further with having them pass through many different territories, so to speak, that are under the control of various tyrants with differing rules and propensity for violence, a great opportunity for many plot points and storylines.

Now on the characters I don't have any particular problems with any of them in particular save for the fact that you have three magicians in your group and would do well to make sure that they are all quite different from each other and have a great many different powers so as to keep them distinguished from one another, the sorceress sounds very unique so I've no problems with her but the first two sound very similiar so I'd take care to make them with rather contrasting personalities. The characters of Leurth, Mielt, and most especially Zanan interest me incredibly and I am interested to see in what direction you intend to take with them and the story as a whole.

This story thus far has my blessing.

Well, don't worry... they are pretty fleshed out. Additionally, to help you peeps imagine their personalities...

Axel: Laharl (Disgaea: Hour of Darkness) or Kain (Legacy of Kain)
Marcus: Um... Random Underling #6897.
Eugene: Raziel (Legacy of Kain)
Reiko: Palom (FF4)
Dorian: Magus (CT)
Luerth: Okay, I'm pulling at straws here... Siegfried (Soul Calibur Series)
Zanan: Robo (CT, without the 'robot' part)
Mielt: Crap. Um... Random Female #6987.
