Final chapter of the epic SI fic Hybrid Theory. Well over a million words long too.

Though I hate SIs this one has managed to do well with an interesting beginning, with excellent detailed writing. Follow this up with a few crossovers (unlikely though they may seem), and an amazing final third (ch21-30) makes this universe wholly believable.

Just give it a chance!

Well this chapter is vaguely disturbing. If only to quote TeflonBooger, he said it wouldn't be a Ranma/Naruto matchup then went on to say that if he did decide on such a matchup it would be a mutual tranformation thing seeing as how Kitsunes are natural shapeshifters. This just put the matchup up in the air agian, I think he just enjoys teasing us.

Pretty sure thats an involuntary and natural state for most of the good authors out there. Our torrment is their pleasure and whatnot :sisi:

Trugeta has updated his fic Raiju - a Ranma/Naruto crossover - to chapter 3. Some people here said they liked his works, so I thought I'd post the update.

Though I have to say after reading the first chapter that this is another of his fics with an OC that only shares the name with the canon character and pretty much fails imo. Canon Ranma despairs, gives up and disappears and is replaced by an overpowered Mary-Sue. Some people like that kind of fic, I don't. That's life :)

However, his spelling and grammar are flawless. At least that's one thing I can grant in his favor :p

I read the first chapter and I gotta say that the only way someone will get me to read more is if they pay me. Or they are offering naked Anko/Tsunade pics.

Hmmm... I caught the Trugeta story yesterday, as I ssaw it in the FF.NET Feeds. However, no mention was made of it being a Naruto cross (or I missed it) until I was mostly through the first chapter. Major bummer.

I'm currently debating whether to read more, as I actually like the setup, just not the cross, at all. For me, anything Naruto is an almost instant turn off.

This perticular Tugeta story is at a level of suck not seen since he first started writing fanics. He has not a single original concept in his story, he has simply stolen every thought and concept from Tales of the FoxCat (quite blatantly on numerous points), Foxhound and a number of Naruto fanfics worse than his own. I mean he give Naruto an improved Sharingan, autofail on soo many levels! Worse yet he turns Ranma into an OC and locks him in female form not 5 pages into the story.

Outside of Betrayal's Reward I simply can't read his fics and even in BR (which I don't really consider a Ranma fic) I have to continually suspend my disbelief.

Another author currently just as bad is Skysaber, with his blatant bias, character bashings and mutating plotlines.

I sustain skysaber is much worse. Trugeta does not make rants about religion or character bashing mid-chapter.

that, and the morals of his characters give me creeps. IMHO. In his fic, I rather side with Voldemort. Th difference isn't that big.

Skysaber is creepy but he gets away with it, to me, for one reason: when he wants to, he can write things that are absolutely hysterical. "Shampoo's Revenge", anyone? Yes, his biases are obvious, but damn, the story is funny.
