Another interesting Ranma update was one by PixelWriter1. Sadly, it was not Desperately Seeking Ranma, but a different story. Still a fairly decent read.

Does anyone know what happened to that shadow chronicles guy OACDYCSF? I can guess at this point the story is cliffed for life. But knowing for sure would stop me checking as often lol.

Also Quantum Destinies... yay...? Did like it at the but I'd have reread it all to remember any of it and I don't wanna!

I occasionally check on 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' by M MacKinnon as well... sadly since it has been over 9 years now... an update is unlikely at best.

I won't say he is dead... there was at one point a rumor to that effect that proved false.

What Do You Want has updated, several times. I've got to say the villains Ranma and Nabiki are getting are making Viquara Iquar look smart, at least she didn't know that kidnapping her (step-)son would trigger an interstellar war, where as these two probably know about Ranma killing a god or whatever Saffron was.

It did not actually update several times... it did that Oct 13th to chapter 7... it only updated once in the last day to chapter 8.

To be honest... I've not read chapter 8 yet, but it astounded me how carefree that girl was in openly attempting to rub her superiority in Ranma's face and threatening him the way she did... she is very, very lucky he is not any of the other higher powered martial artists whom would probably not hesitate to rip her apart...

It's updated several times from when it was last mentioned. And as for this girls actions, well you know all those fics where something happens to force Ranma-chan to have sex with guys? Well I figure that's about a smart/safe idea as backing Lelouch Lamperouge into a corner with seemingly no way out, in other words sooner or later someone's gotta clean up a pile of dead bodies, well this girl hasn't quite reached that stage, yet.

'What Do You Want' by polenicus updated again...

Most of the way through the newest chapter as I type this... One thing I do not care for is this author has gone the same way many have in making Kodachi sound so much worse than the others.

I've always felt in some ways she is more stable than not only her brother, but Akane as well...

IMHO the only hurdle to making Kodachi a serious threat to the others is convicing her that Ranma and the 'pig tailed strumpet' are one and the same.

Not that I expect a Kodachi matchup out of this story, as I do not, but it kind of grates on the casual dismissal of her as a threat to them.

EDIT: It also occurred to me they could have gotten Kodachi's help here... while not rythmic gymnasitcs... I'm sure Kodachi could have come up with some wicked ways to fight dirty in a volleyball game against someone like Himura... could have been amusing... ah well.

Also... for those that are reading it still 'No Chance for Fate' by Tribun updated again the other day.

I can see the medical exam blowing up in Himura's face, a bit like things around 'Ranko's' conversion in Fall of House Kuno should have blown up: Note enough evidence to substantiate the existence of the person. Ranma-chan will have no birth certificate or anything, so things should get interesting.

liked it, followed it from the beginning... kind of wanted a Jean or Myst matchup though....

It always amused me, that Ranma was known as a colorblind flatscan was had to deal with prejudice and fear from of all people mutants...

Yeah, I enjoyed it as well. And while it ends with Ranma with a certain girlfriend, it doesn't discount other developments in the future. After all, the Phoenix ships Jean/Ranma hard. As well as little Saffron.

I think one thing that Vahn did right was make OCs that fit as Xavier's students, and didn't simply make them into spotlight stealing characters. Gave them personalities and powers that honestly fit or have a canon mutant counterpart.

He put up a one-shot sequel dealing with M-Day.

Read it or not, fair warning that you might not like it; the humor tag became a tragedy tag.

remember that Death is a revolving door in Marvel... and he already came back in the sequel, not even two chapters in.

I got reading this just last month again after remembering The Dark Lords of Nerima existed, and saw two sequels had been written in the meantime. One of the more delicious stories I've seen. Ascendant falls flat in comparison but I'm along for the ride.

Also, dat cover art is so amazing :3

What Do You Want chapter 13
In regards to What Do You Want...

Finally got around to reading this as real life gave some odd turns this last week giving other things priority. While it is premature of course to say when I do not know where the author intends to go, but I'll have to admit I'm a bit disappointed in the overall direction the story has been going. I actually like the earlier chapters better, when it was focused more Ranma and Nabiki, and them figuring out what they want out of a relationship with each other and how to act around each other.

I'm actually less interested in this story with the whole focus on the Himura/volleyball subplot and the forming group relationship subplot...

I do still like the story, and will continue reading it, but it lost some of its appeal to me.

All-New Homo Superior chapter 4
In regards to the newest Homo Superior arc...

I'm no longer reading the 2nd arc (or is it 3rd now with the one shot) of this... I actually liked the original, and read the one shot, and read part of the new arc, but I'm not really liking it at all, so I stopped. I actually stopped after start of chapter 3, never made it to chapter 4.

EDIT: What Do You Want chapter 14 just came out.

The volleyball subplot starting was the point I dropped the story, too.
Oddly, I like the characters that are the team, not so much the actual volleyball aspect. Or to be more accurate, this whole Himura thing I consider more a distraction, not so much the volleyball itself.

Taming the Wild Horse has been updated. Its a Ranma 1/2 / My Little Pony crossover fanfic. Don't let that discourage you it's one of the better written Ranma fanfic I had read in the last couple of years.

"Taming the Wild Horse" by SFaccountant
"Sequel to Home is Where Your Curse is. The rebellion stalls, and Trixie's show heats up as she and Ranma hit the road to make a name for themselves as something other than fugitive criminals. But old habits die hard."

It's also a sequel to another story.

"Home is Where Your Curse is" by SFaccountant
"Ranma Saotome has been brought to the fanciful land of Equestria, and finds himself surrounded by its majesty and wonder. He is not happy about this. Equestria isn't very happy about it, either."

Yeah, the entire way it's set up rub me the wrong way too. Like, "Oh no, she's got Yakuza connection! We're totally helpless and can't do anything to her!" is such a fucking cop out. As if Ranma couldn't just track down some of their bases and wipe them off the surface of the Earth with ease.

Homura : Do as I say or I'll ruin your life!
Ranma : Yeah sure, do that. Don't come to complain to me if, now that I literally don't anything to lose anymore, I decide to murder and ruin your entire little Yaks empire however.

Mutually Assured Destruction is a thing that too many author tend to ignore.
