Ranma ½ Ranma canon questions

Off the top of my head (after her introductory arc) I can't think of any example of her being like that to another character. On the other hand maybe she's using Ranma's and Akane's relationship as a rolemodel

It's helpful to remember that sweet, kind, and friendly Ukyo is complete fanon and that she's just as much of a bitch as every other character in the series.

Her basically being no better than his step-family is only really jarring if you think of her as some aw shucks down to Earth "good girl".
This, pretty much.

Breaking Point only works on inanimate objects, correct?

Thanks. I was thinking about it after reading a short Ranma fic. It's probably a good thing it doesn't. Some horrifying implications if it does (worse for Ryoga if he does it by accident in a spar because he gets to used to touching breaking point on inanimate things)

IIRC, in the anime, the story arc in which the technique was introduced had Ranma being horrified and Ryouga ecstatic at the thought of being able to blow apart opponents with a single touch. Cologne, being the troll-y b!tch she is, only revealed its limitations at the very end of the arc, when she jabbed Ranma in the forehead...and nothing happened.

IIRC, Ranma and Akane were both disgusted by what Ukyou paid Konastu as it was so little that she was basically making him work slave wage labor.

Correct, they encourage him to ask for a raise, leading to him being fired and then after some hi-jinks, being hired back at lower pay. Ranma and Akane, upon witnessing it, have the usual "vexed but dead inside" expression that usually accompanies everything going to pot in a plot.
