Originally, this was an idea for Anime Addventure, but given the delay needed to revitalize it—and my own current medical issues—I decided to try floating the idea here and maybe even try to start the Jusenkyo Plot Bunny for it.
The AA idea was that somehow, Ranma and Nabiki ended up before the Gate of Judgment.
The JPB (Jusenkyo Plot Bunny) is that they were able to pass the Gate with success, ending up in wedding attire.
The problem is that Morgan isn’t there, mainly because from her point of the view, the Gate is down for maintenance, meaning that while it okayed them as a ‘perfect couple’, it’ll be because the system is bugging out.
While they try and figure out how to leave, Skuld shows up, as she was assigned to work on the Gate. The results from the confrontation are that all three fall through the Gate, causing it to explode and send them away.
The result is sent to a new reality, the reality of Mass Effect. The trio are dropped into the exploded system of the former zha’til. Since it is a new universe, Skuld’s debugging hammer emits a field to protect them, while acting as the local access to Yggdrasil. It doesn’t register or detect the original system, and instead of figuring out it is in a different universe, it goes with the end results being from Ragnarok, listing Skuld, Ranma, and Nabiki as the surviving Gods.
The destroyed system is then pulled back together, creating a new Yggdrasil. Tech from the destroyed zha’til as well as the Mass Effect Relays are kept, with the AI of Skuld’s design: Banpei, being used to create subjects to run the created solar system.
The only public proof of their existence is from Rakhana, the homeworld of the Drell. Ranma arrives in girl form, and is able to summon a root from Yggdrasil, which immediately begins to heal the planet. The result ends up being that many Drell begin to follow them as a religious sect.
But other than that, not really certain how else this JPB would develop. So what are your thoughts, ideas?
