This is so wrong, but I had to do it:
Challenge Fic
Ranma x Aoi
ôSo, when do I get to meet my newest fiancee?ö asked Ranma, uncouth and loud as ever. He fussed in the haori, uncomfortable at the way it restrained him. He felt twitchy and anxious.
ôSoon, Son. Be a Man. And stop fiddling around. YouÆre embarrassing me,ö grumped his father. Ranma didnÆt stop. ôWhat would your mother say?ö prompted Genma. Ranma stopped. Genma sighed. They waited at the Sakuraba table for the arrival of the maiden and her guardian. Finally a screen slid aside. A beautiful woman with long purple hair and modern business suit shuffled in on her knees, eyes downcast. A real looker with huge knockers and nice hips. Ranma was impressed.
ôOoo. Cute,ö he said without thinking. The woman winced, pausing before moving aside. A smaller girl came in, meek and dressed in a very fancy kimono.
ôAllow me to introduce my daughter, Aoi Sakuraba, heir of the Sakuraba fortune,ö he emphasized, ôAnd her guardian Miss Miyabi, a valued servant tasked with protecting her virtue.ö Her father harrumphed at that.
ôHello, Mr. Saotome. I am honored to meet you,ö said the girl, bowing politely, if with a certain tension that even Ranma couldnÆt fail to notice.
ôHey, nice to meet you too, toots. IÆm Ranma, master of the Anything Goes style martial arts and heir of the Saotome fortune,ö he bragged. Aoi winced very quietly, muttering to herself inaudibly. Her guardian responded equally inaudible.
ôForgive me, I have a prior arrangement,ö said Aoi, rising from her crouch, eyes daring him to object.
ôAoi! What are you doing!ö her father demanded.
ôIÆm sorry Father, but youÆve really gone too far. Have you no sense of shame?ö she accused. He blanched.
ôCome Miss Miyabi, I have much to do at home,ö she insisted, shuffling back out of the meeting room.
Ranma raised an eyebrow.
ôWow. That could have gone better. Was it something I said?ö asked Ranma, stretching and thus ruining the fit of his borrowed Haori. Lord Sakuraba sank his face into his hands.
ôPlease, just go!ö he begged. Genma grumped at his son and dragged the youth out by his ear.
ôI canÆt believe how poor your manners are, boy!ö yelled the old man in the hallway.
ôBlame yourself, old man. YouÆre the one who taught me!ö replied Ranma. The sound of beating ensued.
