No wonder I don't see either Hoki or Iron on AIM anymore then.

You two are the same person and can't remember which password to use.

*Sits here, sad*

...I'm going to go back to exploring the notion of Vivio being Yuuno and Fate's biological child now. Or work on how a semi-yandere Reinforce fits into Yuuno/Hayate.

I'll let the other voices sort out the rest of the mess.

Jail: And I'm your grandpa!
Vivio: ...Then why are you so messed up?!
Jail: Because, you see, Vivio, your entire family is messed up!
Vivio: ...What?
Jail: Your mother is a hooser and your father wears sailor moon underoos!
Vivio: ...On second thought, I don't want to go here anymore, tis a silly place.

Going back, what is the logical extreme of the Vivio being Fate/Yuuno's daughter?

That she actually is, through the contrived coincidence of actually having some of Alicia and Yuuno's DNA in her along with Olivie's.

That she actually is. Two of the more mind-catching options are the ludicrous extreme I presented earlier involving their DNA being used in Vivio's cloning; while the other is the less ludicrous extreme of Yuuno and Fate being aged up and being the biological parents in every sense of the term. Vivio's Kaiser DNA would come from perhaps Due infiltrating the hospital and augmenting Vivio's genetic code whilst still in the womb. Why at that point? Jail and Precia worked together, so it's possible Jail made Fate's genetic code a bit more... malleable in the event something went foul. Likely without Precia's knowledge.

Would it be possible then that Yuuno or Precia belonged had ancient belkan linage, possible along the lines of the Kaisers. If you think about it, Yuuno is quite the gifted mage and Precia's natural amount of mana makes her only the second person to fall under the SS rank.

I'd imagine Saint Kings had a lot of children, although the only ones that are known are those who succeed the throne. The only exception, of course, is Olivie, who died without having children.

It's entirely possible. Not to mention the general lack of knowledge about their family history adding to it. In fact, take that notion and you could say both are descended from the line of Kaisers. Precia is part of the Death Star Club and the Scrya are... really, really unknown to the point of suspicious.

They kind would need to have a lot of children to ensure the bloodline. What with all the death, destruction, and general doom going around.

Precia being of Belkan stock isn't even required. Project Fate was all part of the grand scheme of creating Vivio. Alicia, the girl Fate was supposed to be a perfect clone of, had really louzy magic. So where did the magic prodigy genes in Fate come from?

Is everyone forgetting about the "all mangaka can only draw 6 faces" thing? I suppose it's fun to theory craft over, but if you look for it, you'll soon start to see everyone being relatable to someone else. Thus, there are tons of people who could be family because they look similar. So, for me, I never put much stock in trying to pin people together as family, because it is just the artist having a case of being able to only draw a certain way. You end up with similar looking people a LOT.

Edit: I suppose I should add that, if you removed the hair from everyone (so they're bald), and removed eye color, you'd have a damn tough time picking out who is who. In fact, the crazy hair colors that we know as standard today, we're basically done in order to make it easy for the viewer/reader to tell them apart. Eye color was also done for a similar reason, but it's not as obvious and flashy as a hair style.

So, hell, if we're going the eye route, then people should be mistaking Einhart for Nanoha's child, due to having one blue eye. We should be looking for someone with purple eyes to determine who the father is. :p

Yeah, I know it's all in fun, but it just feels a bit silly to me. And I did a Yuuno/Fate fic myself, that focused on what their child REALLY is! :p

On further thought, if we're referring to in-universe people thinking it, that makes me scratch my head. They'd have to conclude that Fate had Vivio when she was 13, and thus got pregnant at 12. Technically possible, but I don't really know of people who tend to assume someone else had a child that young. It's considered very odd. Also, Yuuno is a relative unknown. I could name a dozen of the top researchers and smartest people in the world, and I bet no one here would have any idea what they looked like. You can't assume someone is the child of someone else via visual traits, if you don't know what the father looks like.

... ... ... I have absolutely NO idea what the hell you're trying to say.

Take a look at various anime/manga, a good chunk of the characters have similar face structures.

Look at Rumiko Takahashi's works, after all, a good chunk of the females and males look very similar from various angles.

No no, I know about the whole "six faces thing". What I don't get is what does it have to do with the current discussion.

Seems he's trying to debunk Vivio being the offspring of Fate/Yuuno, but the discussion was not about facial structure, it was about eyes/hair color (which is commonly a genetic factor). So I'm not sure myself.

Even though Vivio looks more like a combination of Fate/Yuuno then she does Yuuno/Nanoha it's not like the pairing has any canon potential. They hardly ever even talk... It's just that it would be easier to mistake Vivio for Fate and Yuuno's daughter then it would be to mistake VIvio for Nanoha and Yuuno's daughter. Or perhaps write about it in fanfiction.

If you want to get technical, we don't see Yuuno really talk to anyone other than Nanoha. There is a ten-year timeskip between A's and StrikerS, after all.

Because in reality, Yuuno died ten years ago but Nanoha is in denial and keeps him alive inside her head...

One of Yuuno's cousins that looks a lot like him (that's why the glasses) and has a very similar name, Nanoha just confused them.

No one is willing to explain it to her after what happened the first time they tried.

Which now explains why Nanoha adopted Vivio, since she reminds her of Yuuno. Fate didn't want to break her friend's heart, so she didn't tell that Vivio is Yuuno's daughter.

Yep, and did I mention that said cousin is female and is cross dressing?

Because that would explain why adult Chrono got his VA changed (a very wasted Sugita IMO) and Yuuno has the same exact voice he had a s a kid. (Not taking into account the possibility that they actually wanted to get rid of the character and didn't bother hiring a new VA.)
