Requiem of Rebirth

In the beginning there was the Void, and then came possibility.

He remembered.

His father had formed him, named him as the beautiful one.

First child to open eyes to the dawning of the worlds. The only observer of the fathers power as everything else came into being.

Love and warmth, the mere present of the changing colors of scales representing every conceivable color and shade while being unimaginably immense and uncountable, and yet he knew every single part of his fathers form by instinct.

Power and majesty made manifest as the spiraling whirlpool of existence grew into existence before him.

Time passed and father created two others, the next dragons born to be his emissaries in the new worlds.

And then he remembered his own death, betrayal by his younger sibling, part of her plan to eliminate all possible rivals.

xXx

Time and space seemed to freeze as the eldest being felt the fading of his first born and reacted.

Eyes probed space and time for a way to save or bring the child back, and an opportunity presented itself.

"Janus," the dragon spoke, and all creation trembled, "I must speak with you."

The plan would work, and the Lord of the Gods would see the heir of creation reborn once more.

And with that, Lord Io placed the soul of the fallen dragon into one of the worlds that would be and eternity would see a rebirth.

Heaven and hell would tremble should his ire be raised, for Vorel would never fall again.

xXx

And thus Xander Harris stood staring into the mirror on the morn of All-Saints eyes burning as molten metal swirling between colors in the moments before first light.

Has anyone suggested focusing on just one fic for at least a few months?

You do some good xander/crossover stories but most of them never get larger then a chapter, makes it hard to C&C them.

My main problem is that I write what comes to mind at the time. That's the main reason I bounce around between stories I write, as I work on the one I've got ideas for at the time.
