"Twitch," Dyre yelled as he noticed his compatriot fiddling with the hatch as they went airborne, "What the hell are you doing?"

"Well," came the response as it opened before the commando, "If my timing is correct, I'll be able to take on of their scout pairs out and still meet up with the landing force."

"Your crazy," Hammer yelled at him a second before the armored figure leaped out of the juggernaut, "What am I saying..."

A brief pause as he tightened his straps, "...We're Thetas, that was part of the package according to Alpha."

Okay, Twitch thought as he fell, perhaps Dyre was right, this was a stupid move.

He rotated as the large vehicle that Tank had managed to get airborne at its full speed for long enough to pass over one of the lower streets by using wreckage from one of the walls as a ramp.

The speederbike was in view beneath him, just as the Imperial Tactical Network has shown and the timer in his hud was still counting down.

His armored boots slammed into the rear of the leading vehicle, slamming the main drives into the street with enough force to cause damage as it rose vertical.

A quick motion as he curled around the driver when the flip continued and the leading edge of the Nightfalcon caught on the permacrete before being ripped off and ruining any hope of control for the speeder bike.

As it continued its roll, Twitch used the motion to assist him in leaping to the other bike, landing right behind the driver.

"Greetings," he cheered as the Scout Trooper turned at the instant change in the bikes course only a moment before an armor plated fist dislodged the driver and let the commando take over.

The fireball where the scout landed prompted him to toss the pin, pulled from his foes belt, aside and gun the throttle.

Alec waited for a moment before moving again as he charged the leading foe and leaving the followers for Tano.

Blaster fire blurred through the dust clouds while he moved, transitioning instantly into a kick while drawing on the force to boost it.

The connection to the stomach of his foe lifted the man off the ground and sent him flying, but left him open to a counter attack in the form of a force wave that sent him tumbling backwards before landing on his feet once more.

His foe charged as soon as he landed and the two force wielding warriors collided once more, weapons going before separating once more.

ôMy æsaber,ö the dark jedi hissed as he glared at his foe, the weapon broken from a blaster bolt that tore through its base and into the energy cells.

ôGuess weÆre even again,ö Alec commented as he tossed aside his similarly ruined blaster, thankful that it was the one taken from a foe in this fight rather than his remaining custom model.

He opened fire with his pistol only to have the attacks deflected into the ruins around them.

ôWell,ö he shrugged, ôGuess we do this the old fashioned way.ö

He paused to adjust the gloves and remaining pieces of the katarn armorÆs gauntlets before grinning.

ôCatch,ö the gunman yelled while tossing something from his belt.

The dark jedi caught it automatically, but the distraction was enough for Alec to close and activate his own, stolen light saber and implant in in his foes throat, only a hairs breadth from the object caught before he reclaimed his comlink.

ôIdiot,ö he commented while spinning to see to his partner and how he could help deal with the rest of the crazies.

Ouch. Old trick is Old. ;) I guess the Sith isn't as interested in old holomovies.

Ahsoka charged before slashing at the first, using the momentary saberlock as a springboard for an airborne cartwheel.

A burst from the force added to the acceleration when she shifted out of the acrobatics to a straightline strike towards the same darksider she'd used to go airborn. The clash of blades forced her foe to his knees as she touched down once more, both holding position for an instant.

He managed to force her back a step even through her brace when she called on the force and slammed the man into the ground and shattering the cement beneath them as if it were glass.

With a grunt, he staggered backwards, but managed to catch himself with the blade a mere hairsbreadth from his face, although smoke poured from the constant contact between her blade and his cloak.

It was only the flash of warning that had her leaping clear as the man ripped the shattered street apart beneath them, each of the impact fractures allowing the ground to become even more lethal as the fragments bore the ragged edges as they spun madly around the dark jedi.

She paused on landing upon a piece of undamaged flooring and relaxed, delving into the force while the maelstrom advanced upon her.

Her eyes closed and a deep breath filled her lungs.

The instant before the force powered attack touched her, Ahsoka's eyes snapped open and she used the force.

The darksiders eyes widened as the JediKnight advanced at a slow and even step, untouched by the shards of stone that whistled through the air.

"We're picking up activity from the planet," one of the sensor operators yelled from across the bridge, "Both Ion Cannons are powering up."

Rex nodded in response, he knew they were there, and had been one of the time line issues for the entire operation.

"Alright people," he stated while advancing into position, "I think that I know how to deal with this."

All of the officers turned to him, "Prepare for orbital entry, we're going to make them think long and hard before firing those things."

"Sir?"

The only response to that question was a grin.

Fade dove again as a group of TIE's pierced the smoke clouds billowing over the city, before pulling into a slow spin to add more randomness to his path. He watched the searing bursts of light the enemy fired at him while his eye remained on the altimeter.

"This is recon," he stated, "Return delayed by Imperials."

As his transmission ended, the clone pilot yanked back on the stick and stopped the spin and dive while rolling to a side just long enough to pass between two of the structures.

A minor detonation proved that one of the pursuers hadn't been able to pull that same maneuver off.

"I've got three eyeballs on me," Fade continued in order to update any allies still listening, "A backscratch would be nice right about now."

He blinked before glancing over his shoulder when all three foes scattered.

"Never mind," the pilot continued, "Looks like they have else where to..."

He cut out as the Y-Wing began to shake, "...what the sith spawned insanity is going on!"

A dull roar echoed as he watched the buildings begin to tremble as he passed them.

His eyes turned upwards barely in time to see the pale gray of the Twilight break through the shroud of war.

"Oh boy."
