Apparently ninja swear upon the honour of their clan while making the seal of confrontation. That's a detail that has always escaped me.
What about when you don't come from a clan? Some characters don't even appear to have surnames, though that may be because Kishimoto is weird about giving out character names.
So Naruto actually spent more time training for the tree walking exercise than Sasuke in total (and had a tip from Sakura). That makes him being able to reach the top of the tree around the same time as Sasuke when his chakra control is so much worse. And it's another testament to his stamina that he's able to train day and night over several days.
Naruto's so excited that the powerful mass murderer was still alive, he's trembling. I like it.

Seriously, imagine how terrifying Gaara would be if he had found that religion. He reveled in massacres and literally defined his own existence by his ability to kill other people. Maybe in a 'verse where he was never changed by Naruto, his bloodlust continues to grow over time and he finally just leaves Sunagakure entirely.
He'd be like a natural disaster who'd arrive in a area to commit bloody murder as the prophet of Jashin.
Ran past his Shield of Sand? Punched through his Armour of Sand? Doesn't matter because he's fucking unkillable.
