Sailor Moon: Author Possession Challenge! Comments

Hey, I'd like to see you not be a little moody when you've got the fate of the world on your shoulders and the destiny of having to have sex with a guy (even while a girl) and then give birth to Sailor Scrappy (aka Chibi-Usa). Oh, not to mention possibly having to die more than a few times and destroy the world to bring it back.
That is of course you don't take in the idea that YOUR NOT ALONE!!!!!!!!!! YOU GOT PEOPLE HELPING YOU!!!!!! YOU GOT THE RANMA THE FRICKEN GODSLAYER LIVING RIGHT NEXT TO YOU AND POSSIBLY THE BACKING OF WITCHES 5, A DARK GENERAL, A DEMON BANASHING SWORD HAPPY FAMAILY OF HOT WOMEN, AND SUU!!! oh and don't forget comic hyper theory, changing the past only effects one timeline, yours. A person won't just vanish when the events that made them don't happen. Hasn't DC/Marvel shown us anything? ...... wait forget what I said, I think I just had a stroke :headbanger: .

Just making sure you know MYouma is a human turned into a youma not a youma disguised as a human. It's really doubtful she would know anything other than what Kunzite tells her or know anything about other youma in general. Kunzite always kept them in their job and acted as though they were completely normal.
Kunzite's theme was turning others into monsters, Nephrite's theme was turning objects into youma and Zoicite hunted for the 7 reincarnated youma.

My theory is that some youma could possess people, and since there wasn't any clear-cut evidence that this WASN'T the case with at least some of Kunzite's minions, I'm taking the route that some of Kunzite's youma DID exist and simply possessed someone.
After all, without Sailor Moon's wand, the only other way to get rid of the youma is to kill the person AND the youma.
Plus, it would give the youma a constant and steady source for energy, as well as skills it does not normally possess, allowing it to be far more powerful than normal.
Except in this case, there's no human. Just a human disguise. And stop ruining my fun. :blue:

Actually kunzite and Zoicite's ability to turn others into youma was clearly demonstrated several times. They could even change people by accident. In SM it was always pretty obvious if one was possessed because there would be an obvious visual cue of it leaving the body. People turned into youma lacked this cue and would just revert back into a human in every season. All of Kunzite's youma had zero evidence of possesssion. A basic glance at Wikimoon could have told you that she wasn't posessed.
Also just to make sure no one uses this plot device Youma don't need energy to survive they all gathered energy to send directly to metallia.

What do they need to survive, then? Is Metallia like some mother-bird, mouth-feeding them youki? If so, then they do need it, at least indirectly. They just can't convert it into a form they can use on their own.
Or I could be reaching here. I may be recalling incorrectly, but I don't think I've ever seen canon outright stating what youma need to survive, or even what they actually are. Other than 'evil beings', and possibly descendants of corrupted humans from back in the Silver Millenium period ... but then there's Nephrite, who animates items and such. Gah.

Metallia focused all the energy on breaking Serenity's seal. She didn't even need energy to survive so I doubt youma do.
Youma, appear like you said corrupted humans just like Lemures are humans with their dream mirror devoured by Nehelenia. Their human forms were probably dead long ago and are just stayed reanimated through Metallia and Nehellenia's magic. IIRC all the lemures disappeared when Nehellenia was sealed and had to be revived by Usagi. With nephrite it just seems to be a matter of preference to change objects instead of humans.
Wikimoon is the best site for SM info. They're incredibly harsh with editing and really accurate excluding their CT article.

.....actually, we never really get a look at what the youma were like. All we got were brief glimpses. Did they have agriculture? Toilets? Disease? What, if any thing, did they eat?
I could swear I've seen lightning around Kunzite's place in the anime, so there might be weather....

For the sake of having something to work with rather than any actual canon sources, I'm working on the basis that:
1. the Dark Kingdom is somewhat variable in size but in any event not significantly larger than a good-sized city
2. there are five more or less distinct regions: the domains of Beryl and of her four generals
3. the current crop of youma were all either created one way or another since Beryl's new incarnation made contact with Metaria again
4. Zoisite's domain is in a state of shrinking and partial collapse due to his absence

Fate always seemed to love Usagi.
Also before you go overboard, please remember that even if you make them vulnerable to normal weaponry. Youma were always smart enough to spam their energy sucking ability long before they revealed their true form and take hostages if threatened. They never just randomly appeared they took energy away. So you'd have to worry if it was just a youma or a possessed human.
Generals are also always nearby to protect their youma and Jedite proved their barriers can block bullets and the like.
Also Later MOTD (Daimons, Droids, Lemures, Cardians, phages) shouldn't be able to be affected. It took Ginzuishou!Powered/Super/Eternal Sailor Moon to beat them which all had world destroying potential compared to Ginzuishouless!Usagi.
