My personal favorite is a SM/Ranma 1/2 cross that breaks just about every cliche for the genre. It's short, about 4k, but it's definitely one of my all time favorite picks period.

In Another Lifetime by Jade Hunter

Synopsis: SM crossover. No Ranma as a Senshi, no Ranma being super powered. No time travel, no youma, no romance. Just an encounter, a discussion, and a confrontation that doesn't go as planned.

Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1268458/1/In_Another_Lifetime

Found these two over at TV Tropes and got a good chuckle out of both

Paradox by Gregg "Metroanime" Sharp

Synopsis: By way of explaining why she won't tell the other Senshi about impending events, Sailor Pluto tells the other Senshi about some impending events.

Link: http://addventure.bast-enterprises.de/154922.html

The Problems With Time Travel by Gregg "Metroanime" Sharp

Synopsis: When an unknown but familiar-looking boy bursts into a Senshi meeting and drops dead with the Ginzuisho in his hand, it's only the start of a real headache for Sailor Pluto.

Link: http://www.asynjor.com/fanfic/sharp/s9101_omake.txt

P.S.
Note that the last link isn't just for metroanime's, you have to skim to about the halfway point to actually find it. Not hard, but a bit of a head's up.

These are the only two active Sailor Moon crossovers (novel length stories) right now that are complete. At least the first book. They are both decent reads. Start, Middle, and End. Character development, and flow. It's coincidence they happen to have the highest review/chapter ratio in the SM category.

1. SeaHorse ? reviews
The Ruler of the Sea, the Wild Stallion. What happens when the two meets? Oneshot Fic. This is my first serious attempt at a most unlikely pairing. Due to popular requests, Now with a Side-Story added to it.
Crossover - Sailor Moon & Ranma - Rated: T - English - Romance/Humor - Chapters: 2 - Words: 52,568 - Reviews: 156 - Updated: 5-11-10 - Published: 4-6-10 - Complete

Seahorse (Romance)

2. Shinobi Father ? reviews
There is a reason why Sailor Moon looks like Naruto. It started when Pein's Chibaku Tensei succeeded, trapping Naruto inside a moon. Too bad Nagato crashed it far into the Silver Moon Kingdom where the battered jinjuriki was found by a cold Queen Serenity
Crossover - Sailor Moon & Naruto - Rated: T - English - Chapters: 3 - Words: 43,296 - Reviews: 434 - Updated: 5-8-10 - Published: 4-21-10 - Queen Serenity & Naruto U. - Complete

Shinobi Father (Non-romance)

Tsuki Ni Kawatte... SPOON, Bub!
Omega Red takes on The Mad Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight as his protoge in his efforts to defeat Wolverine. But, when the Tick, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune get in his way, he gets angry.
Crossover - X-Men & Sailor Moon - Rated: K+ - English - Humor - Chapters: 1 - Words: 3,111 - Reviews: 1 - Published: 12-12-09 - James H./Wolverine/Logan & Haruka T./Sailor Uranus - Complete
I won't lie; first time I saw "Wolverine & Haruka" I was like, "Geez, I know it's Wolverine and all, but come on, man! That's stealing the whole nursery and putting in your own cigar parlor!"

Well, it's nothing like that, just a pure-T crackalicious story about the X-Men, the Tick and Uranus and Neptune teaming up to put a stop to the dastardly plot of Omega Red and The Mad Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight.

And locating breasts.

Dungeon Keeper Ami

Not quite a Sailor Moon fic, it is without a doubt a very entertaining, long, and detailed Sailor Mercury fic. A portal accident lands Ami in another world, and due to events outside of her control, ends up in control of an artifact that marks her as an "Evil Overlord". What follows is Ami accidentally losing her soul to the Dark Gods of that realm, the world she's on viewing her as Evil with a Capital E, a series of fights against the other Keepers and the forces of Light, leading the story from a desperate fight for survival to Mad SCIENCE! and World Conquest. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the highly amusing and embarrassing situations and rumors that start to spread about her. ^_^

Rise from the grave...

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1263379/gabriel_blessing' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Gabriel Blessing</a> is pretty good. Apparently, he wrote most of his stories back in the 90's
Most are Ranma crossovers, but they are pretty good.

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3906065/1/Wild_Times' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Wild Times</a>

Author summary: My final series from back in the 90's: One is a brash martial artist. The other is a mysterious guardian. A story of burdens and blessings
7 chapters
Has Ranma/Setsuna as its pairing, and a role reversal that is really weird. Oh, and it takes place in Crystal Tokyo (Non-Dystopian).

<a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3590026/1/Destiny' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Destiny</a>

Author summary: An old fic, from back in the 90's. Not everyone who fights fate loses, not everyone who loses is lost. A love story between Haruka Ten'ou and Ranma Saotome
Has only one chapter.
It makes you want to muse on destiny and options after you read this.

I've read those. Like Oz it doesn't follow the Sailor Moon time-line, you have no idea which arch it's taking place, but it's a good read if you want to see character development.

Though destiny might make you vomit if you are a Haruka fan.

<a href='http://www.thekeep.org/~sean/tae.txt' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Trials and Errors</a>.
Manga invades anime.
And Sailor Plutos.

A post-Galaxia Sailor Pluto from an anime timeline takes a Crystal Tokyo-era Sailor Pluto from a manga timeline to trial for bringing the manga-timeline Outer Senshi to confront the anime-timeline Outer Senshi.

Written by Sean Gaffney and Jeffrey Hosmer over a decade ago (1999). Recommended for the Council of Chronos composed of many different Sailor Plutos (only 75% of the Sailor Plutos are Setsuna). Allusions to other SM fanfics, not just the self-insert prequel set in Crystal Tokyo.

Begins with the Outer Senshi being confronted by strangely familiar faces. Then flashes back to Crystal Tokyo where characters from the prequel to this story watch anime episodes of Sailor Moon. Differences between the anime and the manga incited the manga-based characters to "invade" an anime timeline and work out their issues. Trouble ensues. Trial of Sailor Pluto used by rule-mongering faction of the stricter Sailor Plutos as an attempt to rein in the other more casual and rule-bending Sailor Plutos. Issues are worked out.

Story can be somewhat read without knowing the prequel or the other SM fanfics. A lot of the allusions and character growth will fly over your head though. Should at least read the prequel, <a href='http://www.thekeep.org/~sean/madeofst.txt' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Made of Stone</a>, where the birth of Sailor Saturn highlights even further the difference in opinion between the self-insert character and the Crystal Tokyo-era Sailor Senshi on how people should live.

I respectfully disagree. Sean Gaffney was (is? I know he's still around, but I don't know if he's still writing...) an excellent writer, and Hosmer wasn't bad. Fairly good; no Biles though.

And if you want a Sidestory for Trials and Errors, read this:

<a href='http://web.archive.org/web/20010822030034/http://www.dkcomm.net/jhosmer/tiobp.txt' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>The Importance of Being Pluto</a>.

Written by Hosmer, it's a tale about one of the Council Members in T&E.

Out of character?
They're faithful to their timelines.
There were more than one.

The whole premise of that fic (and the reason why I liked it) is that there are a multitude of Sailor Moon timelines. Many different possibilities, all linked together through the office of Sailor Pluto as the guardian at the Door of Space and Time.

Many authors have different interpretations of the Sailor Senshi. Like the one in which Sailor Pluto is a time-traveling orchestrator of Crystal Tokyo. That was a novel take a decade ago; it's an annoying as hell fanon nowadays. I miss the days where Pluto could be thought of as the rookie in Crystal Tokyo.

The prequel to the story established the what the Sailor Senshi were like in this take of the Crystal Tokyo era. The backstory that explains why the Inner Senshi remained in the city while the Outer Senshi did not. The characters from the prequel behaved in this story as expected. Nonetheless, the fact that there were multiple variations of the manga and anime timelines involved should have tipped you off that the characters would have to be taken at the merit of the story and not out of preconceived notions.

Starts from the beginning and warps everyone wildly OOC.

Very funny.

Considering the fic is the very first thing in Previews? Unacceptable.
Well to be fair, it is called 'The Ero-Sennin wrote a Sailor Moon Fanfic!' by The Ero-Sennin in Previews rather than 'Beautiful Destroyer Sailor Moon' by The Sage of Toads on FF.net. I can easily see why someone could not connect the two.

Summary: 'This is a story about Sailor Moon. Specifically, it's a rather dark story about Sailor Moon, and gets slightly gruesome at times.' One of the best SM stories I've ever read, but as with anything, YMMV.

I tried but couldn't get into it. The amount of untranslated Japaneses made it near unreadable.
