In the Saint Seiya manga they make a comment about a Eighth Sense and I was wondering if anyone here knew what it was supposed to be.

It is a spiritual sense that allows you to enter Hades's domain without being dead. Unless you possess that eighth sense (which is rare even among Saints), the only ways for you to enter Hades are to either die or be Ikki, who due to his Phoenix gimmick auto-revives when dying, pretty much.

As far as I know, it's the highest anyone can get. Even Athena couldn't go any higher than the 7th, by the way, so she had to die to get in Hades. Seiya and a couple others are the only ones among the Saints who even HAVE the 8th Sense.
