WizardOne basically pulled hinself a Ggafgar and declared h would leave because someone enforced the fucking rules.
Except, I did it politely, didn't bother to start my own thread. Other than that, correct.
I don't like the fact that TFF has changed or How it has changed, and I don't particularly like the behavior of our 'Staff' over here, so I'm leaving. People dramatised that and built it up to be some sort of huge thing, the worst part is, the people who dramatised it are/were the staff, highlighting my point.

I edited my post to correctly reflect my sentiments, I wasn't talking so much about the posting, as the disbelief that it would be removed.
"Honestly, I think the fact that there exists a topless, cartoonified caricature of a little girl is enough reason to be pissed, but someone posting it in General Links of TFF and then being annoyed it was removed?"
Like... there are legit reasons to be displeased about nTFF. But leaving in huffy fit because we wouldn't let someone post borderline-CP in general links?
...What. Just... What.
You're sensationalising in an attempt to grab more support to your viewpoint, now that no one can see the picture. The original poster was confused as to why anyone would consider the picture NSFW, he posted it over here and was of the opinion that it wasn't and people would support him in that viewpoint. So clearly some people thought it was NSFW, and others did not.
Since, by word of god it was female, yes, the picture was NSFW, probably. I can agree with that, but the general response was confusion, he had to clarify that it was a girl, because people couldn't tell. It had zero female physical characteristics, the picture portrayed an overly muscular green humanoid in a tutu with hair bobs, with clearly adult physiology. No female sexual characteristics were visible, yes it was topless, yes it was apparently female by Word of God, but looked to me like it had a healthy set of male pectorals. Nothing like a child physically. CP? As if. It wasn't even loli let alone CP.
This is exactly the same argument that the courts have all the time. Idiots go into court and try to explain that they weren't looking at loli because 'Even though she looks like a child, she's actually a 600 year old vampire.' (Ref Evangeline)
Except the reverse.
'Even though she looks like a super muscular bulky adult weightlifter and is clearly about to beat some poor fool unconscious, its cp because she's actually a fifteen year old gymnast.'
Calling it 'borderline cp' is disingenuous. I'm leaving because I disagree with nearly every administrator level decision, including who they actually are, how they behave, and how their decisions and interventions are affecting the relaxed and generally free atmosphere of TFF. That is my right. Getting really angry over it won't change it.
I don't disagree with the way admin handled the picture, in fact TES was very polite about it and didn't punish the guy for posting something against the rules. My point, originally was that this forum is NOT very similar to TFF, it has a similar structure, but its different in many other ways, including atmosphere.
The only people here who are angry are you and TES, and its colouring your opinions and responses heavily, and that obvious showing of how your personal opinions affect your behavior is exactly what I don't want to see in my staff. As I said, I'm sorry this makes you angry, but this is literally all the effort I can expend to care anymore.
I honestly wasn't going to post in here again, but I just couldn't let that one fly. Its always embarrassing when you have to skulk back in to make a point after saying 'I'm leaving', but I'd prefer that to having my character maligned.
