By the way, if Shags and Scoob are going back to Grimmwood for Tanis' graduation, I guessthey're gonna meet new students. she can't be the only one, right?

I remember Godzilla's daughter and the Swamp Girl from the movie's finale. Then... Maybe a Changeling? And a Magician girl if we're putting mages in the same boat. Could be fun if only to confirm the mage/familiar suspicion... Any other suggestions?

I'm glad for this. There's too much Scrappy hate on the Net and its actually derailing Scrappy's character. Case in point: the live-action movie took an annoying (to most people, but not to me) character who idolized Scooby Doo and turned him into <s>Stewie Griffen</s> an evil mastermind who wanted to kill Scooby and everyone else.

I mean come on.

Why do I get the feeling that with so many different authors and ideas Shaggy might end up with a functional harem at some point? I guess sometimes nice guys do finish first.

EDIT: I had a thought for a different start where the girls pop up to help rescue Shaggy during Zombie Island as suggested before but we have a nice flow for the fic ideas already. Should I work on it later in a different thread or post it here when I have the time?

With so much mental juice flowing, just write whatever you feel like writing. We can assemble and regroup everything in the various storylines surfacing later on.

Heck, maybe even have Wheres my Mummy take place after the Gang inevitably meets the girls, have Tanis appear.

And that bit for Scrappy? Well, I honestly can be on either side of the Scrappy train, but at heart, I recognise Scrappy as a failed attempt to turn Shaggy and Scooby's duo into a trio, have him be their braver foil. Its what I call the "Larry problem", as it was parodied in the episode of Pink and the Brain "Pinky and the Brain and Larry"

"Vampire vegan," meaning she doesn't bite animals to get the blood she needs. She'll eat any regular food, including meat, but by vamp standards she's vegan. Feeding off living animals but not people would be equivalent to a vegetarian. I should have cleared that up.

You guys talked earlier about how Daphne and Shaggy were traveling alone with just Scooby and Scrappy, but there were more than a couple episodes where Mystery Inc. was just Shaggy, Thelma and Scooby.

a fic based in the premise XD I have not read it (don't have time) so the quality could be and probablly will be very bad, but sometimes bad writers have good ideas

First, I had Danny in Minnesota, Vlad lives in Wisconsin.

Second, is that a Mummies Alive Suggestion?

No idea on the werewolf thing.

The one where the vampires took over and locked them up to hide them from the moon on Ghostbusters. Lupisville, I believe. I refuse to have twilight here unless it's to have real vampires show up to remove those things from existence.

And if you include the ones where Shaggy was her sidekick instead of Freddie, she was almost eaten by a vampire actress after she and Shaggy beat the "guy in a mask" villian trying to rip the vamp off thinking she was just a crazy old lady.

You know if you want a town full of supernatural beings- namely witches, non-sparkling vampires and werewolves, you could always use Mystic Falls, VA, from the show Vampire Diaries.

You know when you think about it, despite the attitude, Shaggy is a bit of a bad-ass, isn't he? At least when dealing with all things of the paranormal.
