I thought we had Winnie like that because she was more of the outgoing type and had the better chance of being the pervy Grimwood Girl. Sibella is polite and respectful, Tanis is innocent, Elsa seems like she could be the slightly nerdy girl and maybe a bit emotionally insecure about certain things, and Phantasma is...well, Phantasma.
While I don't think sex has to be excluded from this story the comment Winnie made just seems jarring and out of left field.
True, alot of old childrens cartoons are littered with innuendo and such, the main difference is that it's usually more subtle, or at least funny.
Hmmm... Actually, I think it fits. At least, her inner thoughts. And I'm still working on this but I wanted to be sure that I wasn't the only one. Glad it's so. Now someone get Dhampyr's ass back in here.

It's true, looking back I was surprised what Animaniacs got away with...

Sorry, subtlety wasn't my strong suit. I'll try to ease up with Winnie in future parts.

Sorry, it's been a while since I've seen Cyber Chase so I'm have a little trouble trying to integrate ideas with Winnie into it.

I have to go to work soon, but either later tonight or tomorrow I can put in another scene, either here or with Phanty. You folks cool with Winnie getting captured by the Virus and held hostage in the game?

I'm of two minds about it. On one hand, it would give Shaggy an opportunity to save her again so that she could try to "thank" him properly this time now that she's older. On the other hand, it might generate Revolta flashbacks for her. I don't see her reacting well or maintaining her human form under that kind of stress.

And again, I'll write my filler bit for the Egyptian level tonight.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, but weren't the girls out of it while in Revolta's castle? Would they have enough memories to flash back?

But then again, she could have enough faith that Shaggy would save her again, or just stay unconscious most of the time.

They were kidnapped individually, then put under a mind-whammy. I think Winnie and Sibella both tried to fight back but were no match for Revolta's minions. Winnie was captured by the Grim Creeper ( the giant potato thing) and Sibella was caught by Revolta's spider bats while in bat form herself. Then they were brainwashed and ordered to attack Shaggy and Scooby with the other girls.

Granted they were under mind control for most of the fight, but that doesn't mean they don't remember it. Never mind the trauma of being forced to attack a friend. I don't think any of the girls would react well to hostage situations.

My egypt level snippit! This level was originally part of a song montage, so little detail was shown about the snacks. This will likely be my only contrabution to this arc, then I'll write the majority of a few Whats new Scooby Doo mysteries with the girls, unless you want me to add some stuff on the Dinosaur or Gladiator levels.

---

They didnÆt know how, but somehow Shaggy and Scooby had managed to accidently split up away from the gang and get lost in one of the pyramids in the Egypt level. The problem was that they had looked all over the pyramid just in case, and no signs of the Scooby Snacks, and the gang were probably having the same problem. Scooby sniffed around as they retraced their steps, looking for a way out, before bumping his nose on a bandaged foot, small amounts of green flesh visible, gulping as he steps back ôRaggy, look!ö

Shaggy looked over the creature, a mummy monster, certain areas left uncovered and showing rotting flesh and, rather surprisingly, laughed at it ôWow, like, I canÆt believe it Scoob, were we seriously scared by this before?ö he asked, knowing the mummy was likely based off the monster from the gangÆs old museum mystery, where Scooby had been encased in concrete for a little bit of time.

ôReah, but re looks cheesy nowö Scooby replied, chuckling, despite the mummy glaring at the two in utter range, growling.

ôIÆll say, Tanis could totally give him a run for his money, and youÆve seen her dad being spooky beforeö Shaggy added. The mummy growled a bit more, glaring and growling, taking a swipe at the strangely unafraid duo, before slumping and shuffling off, Shaggy and Scooby wiping their foreheads in relief afterwards.

ôRe was a bit menacing roughö Scooby noted as the two lean on one of the walls, next to a golden Anubis statue.

ôYeah, but weÆve seen scarierö Shaggy noted, smiling.... then hearing a growl ôhey Scoob, you can calm down, heÆs goneö

ôRatÆs not meö

Shaggy gulped, slowly looking to the left, true to his word, Scooby was simply looking at Shaggy, not growling, but quivering ôthereÆs another monster behind me, right?ö Shaggy asked, getting a simple nod in return, slowly turning around, noting the snarling jackal ôZoinks! RUN!ö Shaggy yelled, the two dashing as fast as they can away from the Anubis, its sharp claws swinging down at where they were a few seconds previously, quickly running after them, the chace quickly leading out into the desert, neither of them noticing that they had lost the Anubis, minds focused on running, even running past a camel mounted Phantom Virus, knocking him off it in the process.

ôThatÆs a foul ball!ö the virus declared, chasing after Shagy and Scooby, scimitar in hand, even as the two run past the gang and up another pyramid.

ôLike, I think we lost the statue Scoobö Shaggy said

ôReah, but now re have the Virus!ö Scooby wailed, the Panthom virus throwing his sword at the rapidly ascending duo, followed by a series of viral blasts ôrhy do you think he doesnÆt want us up rere?ö

Before shaggy coul answer, they found themselves at the top... with a box of Scooby Snacks waiting for them ôGroovy! The Scooby Snacks!ö Shaggy declared, snatching the box as the surroundings dissolved into wireframes, the virus yelling in rage.

EDIT: Fixxed

This goes right after Menos' last bit. Just to clarify, from my understanding, Winnie is not furry at the moment...

Meinos Kaen said:
"Huh?" Under Shaggy's eyes, Winnie's body began to change. Her skin became darker, her hair became wilder, of a darker shade of red and her sideburns longer. Finally her ears and canines became elongated and pointed. "... Wow. That's like, convenient." He then smiled as he understood. "But yeah, you look a lot more familiar to me like this."
...To me, that seems like she looks like a wild haired dark elf.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Winnie growled as the blue creature backhanded Shaggy away. She picked up her magnet, swinging it like a club.

"Get offa my coach, you electronic asshole!" She caught the virus in the head, sending it flying as it's body got...static-y? it was stunned for the moment, anyway, and with that, Winnie turned to Shaggy, "Coach? Coach, are you okay?"

"I'll take extra marshmallows on the chili-dog, please." Shaggy said, watching the flying hot-dogs around his head for a moment before shaking himself back to reality, "Winnie? Like, what hit me?"

"That," the werewolf turned, but the virus was gone, "Crap, it got away."

"Like, don't worry, Winnie, with my luck, we'll run into it again soon..."

-------------
(No idea what to write for the other pairs encountering the virus, someone else want to try?)
-------------

Winnie and Shaggy were searching another lab when they heard the static cackle of the virus. Winnie dashed out the door, only to catch a glimpse of blue to her right before her world went black.

Shaggy saw Winnie run out of the lab, brandishing her magnet like a sword, only for a blue electric ball to hit her in the side, knocking her out. Shaggy tried to rush to her aid, only for the doors to slam shut as he approached, something jamming it closed. Shaggy could only watch in fear as the virus, having slipped a metal bar in the door handles, looked oddly over the odd looking Winnie, then shrugged and hoisted the unconscious girl onto his shoulder.

"Put her down!" Shaggy yelled, banging on the door, "Winnie! Winnie, wake up!"

The virus only cackled and ran off. Shaggy had to act fast. Looking around, he wheeled a table around before using it to ram the door. On the third hit, one of the doors snapped off it's hinges and Shaggy ran after the pair. He got to the computer lab...Just in time to see an unconscious Winnie and the waving Virus disappear into Eric's machine.

"Winnie!"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The blue ball was an attack the phantom used while in the game, I just figured it could use it in the real world.

And as for the other pairs, no idea what to write for them encountering the virus, although I might imagine Velma asking Scooby about Winnie...

It's excellent. I'm still trying to figure out an appropriate repose to it, though. Most of what's bouncing around in my head right now is a scene in the far future with Shaggy, Scooby, Scrappy, Sibella, and Winnie all meeting up together at a Grimwood function a century or so from the current time. I'm also trying to decide if her exposure to Vincent van Ghoul and the whole 13 Ghosts thing would impact Daphne in any way that hasn't manifested up to this point.

I had to return my copy of Cyber chase to the library. Anyone know the order of the game levels? All I know is the moon is first, followed by Rome, then I think the Dinosaur level, then I have no clue.

It might be behind her drive to prove the existance of the supernatural?

I would think that's a given. I'm trying to puzzle out any physical changes she might experience.

*Gets his own copy out*

Moon, Rome, Dinosaur, Level Montage which has, in this order, Underwater, Shrunk in Garden, Samurai/Feudal Japan, Egypt, Medieval and North Pole, followed by the final level, Town/Carnival.

I missed a lot of episode, but if she was ever possessed, hypnotized, or spent time in another plain of existence, something could linger with unknown side effects.

I think it would be more that Daphne has had more exposure to the real supernatural than anyone barring Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy. Magic tends to leave a mark after you've been touched by it. Given that Daphne always seemed to be the one that gets kidnapped, hypnotized, changed, etc even in regular situations throughout the various series, I could see her picking up something that might have her still around in a future setting.

Actually, that just reminded me, the only three people hypnotised by the Hypno-Clown were Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby... and the Clown.

I was watching a rerun of Legend of the Vampire and it got me wondering, would the Grimwood Girls coming to the concert be on the cruise ship with Shaggy and the gang, or would they meet them at Vampire Rock? Because the cruise ship provided a throw away mystery montage and what could be weeks of unaccounted for time to be a story arc unto itself, while meeting together at the concert makes more sense.

Then again, if Sibella or Winnie were there from the start they'd know it was a "guy in a mask" villain from the get go.

I think so would Shaggy. But why would that stop them? I don't think Shibella would be on the cruise. She likely showed up early at Vampire Rock for the band. And Vampires don't like flowing water anyway.
