Scooby Doo and the Grimwood Girls

Sibella would probably show up early with the Hex Girls, and, if she'll be there, Phanty would probably fly. The others could be on the ship, and maybe blame make-up/ship smells/sea air for messing with Winnie's nose.

Do you guys want me to take over for a few more Cyber Chase things? I'm pretty sure I could do Moon and Rome to take them off your hands and save you time.

Question, where does the Scooby Doo & Zombie Island fit within this timeline?

It took place as canon before Witch's Ghost. Everyone from Grimwood knows what took place through the supernatural grapevine, but don't think much of it beyond being glad Shaggy helped to stop a coven of rogue werecats.

I'll try for either a new part or a new Phanty/Phantom within a week or two.

Damn exam week.

I was thinking more the "vampires" at Vampire Rock were guys in masks that would be easily outed. Although if Winnie has an affinity with the dingos it could explain why they showed up to protect the gang. And I see Sibella throwing a royal FIT when the Hex Girls are kidnapped.

Honestly the three guys on the boat I could see more as entertainment for any of the girls on the ship. Even in the movie, they were more there for a montage to recreate the Old School opening credits, right down to the guy trying and failing to grad Daphne from behind.

There is another issue with Legend of the Vampire that we inadvertently created, though. Namely that the concert is for unsigned bands looking for a chance to get a recording contract. We set them up to get one at the end of Witch's Ghost.

Actually, I thought of that and saw the movie again, the Hex girls weren't competing, they were a band simply there for entertainment as the opening act, that's why the gang won under the band name "Those Meddling Kids", which is why Velma had to sing at the end of the movie.

And while the 'vampires' and yowie yahoo might piss off the girls, that doesn't mean they won't be hard to catch, since the burning red gum wood could screw with Winnie's sense of smell leaving her unable to effectively track them, Sibella might be too angry to think straight, especially since her cousin was abducted. Besides, they may also have to worry about 'exposure' as monsters, although that might make for scaring the crap out of wildwind at the end.

Okay, let's see...(WW Opens book "White Magic for Complete Morons") Let's see, Cure, Dispell, Esuna, Mini, AH, here it is...

WhiteWhiskey casts  Raise  on thread.

Thread was Revived!

-----------------------

Sam "Don't Call Me Samantha" Manson lay in her bed scowling after what had been a rather bad day. First she had to rush back home before school because she'd forgot her math textbook in her room, and found her mom trying to set up pink drapes in Sam's room, PINK. The yelling that followed got Grandma Manson involved (Thankfully on Sam's side), and Sam ended up getting to school five minutes after the bell, not long enough to miss anything, but apparently long enough to get a lecture from Lancer to give her a levture on the "Virtues of Punctuality", which she had to hear again much later when Danny was almost 20 minutes late to the last period class.

Then she finds out about a ghost Fangirl, great, the very idea send chills down the goth's spine, at least Paulina only went after Danny Phantom, but a ghost fan would probably know to go after Danny Fenton.

Now, in retrospect, Phantasma wasn't that bad. She was nice enough (And one of the few ghosts who didn't attack on sight), the trick she used on Dash was pretty funny, and she was oddly chipper, but her cackling could get a little grating, and Sam still didn't like a ghost girl being after Danny (For reasons she wouldn't admit, even to herself), but the worst thing was the information she had.

Actually, some of it had been helpful, some insight on the Ghost Zone government (In the absolute loosest meaning of the word) had been a little enlightening, and knowledge of the few absolutely enforced rules may be helpful in the future (Unfortunately, none of those prevented the Ghosts actions in the living world), it was something else that was a bit more crushing to Sam...

Her entire life, Sam had loved the mythos of the Vampire, and Dracula had always been a classic favorite, and the knowledge that he was real was like a dream come true, but then she found out Dracula had become a bimbo-chasing, car-racing stereotype of a middle aged man had been a dream-crushing blow to the image of the proud children of the night.

"Good scowl, but don't you humans get wrinkles from that?"

"GAH!" Sam fell out of bed, startled by the voice from nowhere. Jumping to her feet, she found Phanty hovering above her bed, sitting cross legged on air and holding a sign.

5.5

"Good sound and execution, but you need to work on your landing and expression, and it should be more of a scream than a yelp. I just wasn't feeling the fear."

Sam's eye twitched, "What are you doing here Phanty?"

"Aside from scaring you out of your bed?" The ghost girl cackled a little, "I wanted to talk to you."

"About what?"

Suddenly, Phanty's expression was serious (or as serious as she can look still having a gring that looked ready to turn back on itself like something out of Dr. Seuss), "About Danny, of course. I, as Sibella would say, seek to court him, and right now the only real problem I see is you."

Sam tensed, that sort of statement usually was followed by a threat, "What do you mean?"

"Oh, come now, I've been around the two of you for less than a day and I can tell the two of you share something special, I don't really know how deep your feelings are, but I can tell-"

"We're just friends," Sam Inturrupted.

Phanty cackled, "Whatever you tell yourself, doll, but I see three ways this will end," The ghost girl drifted closer, making the living goth step back, "1. I seduce Danny and we get to gether, and maybe you find someone else," Phanty took a hammy overdramatic pose, "2. You and Danny get over yourselves and get together, leaving poor little me alone in the cold, orrrr"

Somehow, impossibly, Phantasma's grin seemed to widen, chilling Sam's spine, "Or?" She gulped, really wishing she had a Fenton Thermos right now, or at least a Spector Deflector.

Phanty didn't say a thing as she closed in on Sam, and Sam backed up until she was against a wall, Phantasma's face an inch from her own.

Phantasma Giggled, "Or #3, we share him!"

...

....

.....

Sam stared, wide eyed, "What?"

"Cobwebs in your ears?" Phantasma giggled, "I said we share him."

Sam blinked a couple times, then shook her head, before calmly...

"WHAT!!??"

...Okay, maybe not calmly.

"Oh, come on, you can be open minded, can't you?" Phanty asked, tilting her head, "I mean, I'm a ghost, you're a living human, and Danny's half of each, so it kinda makes sense for him to have one of each, Right?"

"Wrong! He's not some book or toy, he's a living person" She saw Phanta raise an eyebrow, "Okay, sorta a living person, but he's still a person, and so am I, and-"

"And what?" Phanty asked, "What's the big deal, in some ways it would kinda help. I mean, seriously, Phantom, Fenton, I'm kinda surprised nobody figured it out yet. This way, you can have a relationship with Danny, so can I, people see me with Phantom and you with Fenton, making it a little less likely for people to connect them, and me and you can get to know each other and determine our relationship later."

"O-Our relationship?" Sam asked, red faced.

"Well, yeah, why should Danny have all the fun of dating two people? Haven't your ever felt some curiosity?"

"NO!" Sam exclaimed.

"Ah, well, I guess it's kinda a difference of upbringing, I spent most of my early-death in an all girls school, so I had some thoughts..." She shook her head, "Anyway, we don't have to, I guess, and that's still only option 3. If we have to take one of the first two, then," Phanty stood-er-floated in a 'Gallant' pose, "Then we shall be respected rivals as we chase that most coveted treasure of love." Then she bent nose-to-nose to give the surprised goth an eskimo kiss, "But think about that third one," She then erupted into a high pitched cackle, flying through Sam and the wall, leaving Sam alone.

Sam turned to the wall Phanty had just left through, staring for a moment.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?"

"SAMANTHA MANSON, YOU WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!" she heard her mother call from downstairs.
-----------------------------------------

And a bit back with the gang

-----------------------------------------

The rest of the gang burst into the lab along with Eric Bill and the Professor.

"Shaggy, what happened?" Fred asked as he ran up.

"The-the virus got her, it took Winnie into the game." Shaggy said, pointing at the machine.

Bill and Eric quickly moved to the computers and began typing, only to repeatedly get error messages, "We're shut out, we can't get Winnie out with the emergency eject (You'd think a machine like that would have one, wouldn't you?), we can't even get in to find where she is."

"Jinkies," Velma gasped, "What are we going to do?"

"Unfortunately, we have little choice," The professor sighed, "Aside from the emergency protocols, the only other way to get out is to finish the game. We must either trust Ms. Winnie will be able to escape, or," He looked gravely over the others, "Or someone must go in and-"

"We'll do it!"

Everyone gasped, because it was both Shaggy and Scooby who said that.

"Shaggy? Scooby?" Daphne stepped forward, putting a hand on each forehead, "Are you two feeling alright."

"We're fine, Daphne, but we have to get Winnie back, she's our friend," Shaggy said with surprising conviction.

"Reah!" Scooby echoed.

The gang looked at Shaggy and Scooby in a new light, maybe losing Crystal and Amber affected them more then their friends had thought...

"Besides, if we don't, her dad will kill us anyway."

Their shoulders slumped a little, they changed, but not too much, thankfully.

"We'll come with you, Shag," Fred said, stepping forward, "Any friend of yours is a friend of ours," The girls nodded in agreement.

Soon they were standing in front of the device as Eric explained, "Okay guy, there's ten levels and to pass each one, you have to find the box of Scooby Snax. The location is randomly generated and each level will have obstacles. It's shouldn't be dangerous, but there's no way of knowing what the Virus may have done. Me and Bill will be trying to sort through whatever blocks the Virus put up and, hopefully, we'll be able to get the emergency eject working and get you and Winnie out. Any questions?"

The gang shook their heads.

"Alright, good luck."

A flash of light and the machine was activated, the gang disappearing into cyberspace.

Now that was a nice present for the impending Hogswatch. Very nice. Very elegant. And I really need to stop watching Hogfather so much.

Phantasma needs to work on her logic. The plan will fall through when people realize that she knows Sam.

A. Not if Danny can already clone himself (Which would really help)

B. These are the people who are thrown off by hair change and a different last name, the only thing worse is if his disguise was just a pair of glasses.

C. I really think Phanty seems the type to throw herself into the role and develop her own super hero alter ego (Mrs. Phantom, oh how that would piss off Paulina, and maybe Sam too)

When you're quoting douches like the Auditors, it becomes debatable.

Hmm, gotta watch the thing again. What was the first level again?

Also, guys, would you mind if I posted this on my Blog as well? Of course giving credits to all of us and linking to your own blogs/sites, if you have one.

I'm cool with that, and the first level was the moon

Level List Here

Basically, it's Moon, Rome, Pre-history, Under water, Giant Garden, Feudal Japan, Egypt, Middle Ages, North Pole then the last level, Coolsville (I guess it's based on the gangs home town.

Paulina Sanchez was, at the moment, NOT a happy cheerleader. And when Paulina Sanchez was unhappy, people around her were unhappy. Nerds got their hearts crushed, girls got their self-esteem ripped to shreds, lives were ruined.

And why was the A-list Latina unhappy? Her future boyfriend (In her little world, anyway) was seen with another girl. Danny Phantom had been seen several times in the company of a ghost girl! He was (sorta) cheating on her! Well, sure, Paulina and the ghost boy weren't together in the technical sense, but she knew he wanted her (Who wouldn't, she was Paulina Sanchez, the cutest girl in school)!

She was going to schmooze a few things out of the Fenton-nerd to...deal with the ghost girl, but now not only did weird-goth-girl seem to be trying to get more of his attention, but weird-goth-girl also seemed to have competition from the new weird-pale-giggly-girl, Paulina couldn't get close enough to the nerd to get any of his freaky parents ghost hunting stuff.

She would find some way to deal with this, the ghost boy was HERS!

------------------------

A little Phantom piece, after a time-skip, to get things going again. No idea for a 'hero' name or get-up for Phanty. Anyone want to do the Moon level?

Nice. I had a thought in regards to Winnie's kidnapping. Given the nature of the digital world and the fact nobody knows she's a werewolf but Shaggy and Sccoby, is it possible that she might be unable to transform and that's why she couldn't escape on her own?

Might be. I thought either something like that, or she'd stay unconscious until near the end.

"Winnie! Winnie!" Shaggy called out as he bounced high in the low gravity. "Winnie-whoa!" He lost control in 'mid-air' and crashed into a crater rim.

"Shaggy, Are you okay?" Daphne asked as the gang ran up.

"Like, yeah, but I learned something. In this videogame, you can get hurt."

"Or worse," Velma said ominously, "If the Phantom Virus disabled the safety ejection, who knows what other safety protocols have been removed. We might have actually died here without our helmets like this was really the moon."

"Rikes," Scooby whimpered.

"Yikes is right," Fred nodded, "We should get going, Eric said we have to find the Scooby Snax to get through the level."

"Besides, Shaggy, Winnie's probably not here," Daphne said, "How often do you find the princess on the first level?"

Velma, a little peeved at the Princess comment, saw something, "Look."

The gang turned to find- "A Moon Rover," Shaggy exclaimed, "Like, and with a groovy paint job, too."

"Well we'd better get it started," Freddie said, pointing, "'Cause we've got company."

A staticy-cackle singled the approach of the Virus, riding a rover driven by the Moon Ghosts.

"ZOINKS!"

------------------------------

A little something to get things going again.

Question, Should we choose enemies for levels that weren't fully shown, or just skip over some of the montage levels?

Also, I think I'm going to post the new Phantom parts as an interlude until we can get the Cyber-Chase chapter hammered out. Any problems?

Just a quick little blurb into the mind of an unconscious wolfgirl in peril....

Winnie shifted fitfully in her bound and unconscious state. She had never liked being confined. The wolf in her nature was too strong to allow it. But being tied up and kidnapped was bringing up unpleasant memories from her subconscious.

*Once you have been Revoltized, you will be my willing servants.*

*Like, Winnie, it's us. You need to snap out of it.*

*Destroy them, my minions.*

And deep within her mind, an unchained bestial instinct howled and snarled. She had been taken again. There was another threat to the pack. She needed to fight back. She needed to defend. She needed to destroy those that threatened Shaggy and Scooby. She would not be used as a tool against her will again.

But still, her body betrayed her. She could not awaken. She could not Shift.

She would have to wait, and patience was a virtue Winnie tended to lack.

But, her time would come.

Oh yes, it would.

I'd say skip most of them... but make sure to keep in my Egypt snippit. I think I'll just right small bits for this, I'm busy enough writing my own fanfic project and uni work, so when I have breaks, I'll get to working on them... or I might just work on a Whats New one slowly...

Hmmm... but I feel I should add a snippit... GOT IT!

---

The six looked around as they felt themselves reforming, the green wireframe of the next level starting to form, taking on the look of, of all things, a city. ôHey, I think weÆre back in the real world!ö Daphne stated, her voice mixed with both excitement and personal horror, did this mean they had missed Winnie.

Scooby shook his head ôRuh uh, rit smells wrongö he points out, the virtual world having been bugging his nose the whole time ôRike... static!ö

ôPlus, the sky isnÆt even fully loadedö Velma comments, the wireframe soon being replaced by a nights sky.

Fred looked over; noticing Shaggy had been quieter than usual, a serious look on his face ôHey Shag, mind if we chat for a moment?ö he said, the two walking over to one of the buildings.

ôLike, whatÆs up Fred?ö Shaggy asked

Fred just leaned against the building ôYou can drop any act Shag, IÆve noticed that youÆve been more on edge lately, and something in my gut tells me itÆs not the monsters, what gives?ö he said slowly.

ôItÆs that obvious huh?ö Shaggy said with a sigh ôIts Winnie... I guess I still feel responsible for her from the days when I was her Coachö

ôYou never did mention what happened during those days... we completely lost contact with you for those months, bit strange if you ask meö Fred pointed out ôbut your acting more like an over protective parent... did something happen?ö

Shaggy sighed, nodding ôThe girls got into danger once, and it was my fault, Winnie included. TheyÆre good girls, but they needed help to get out of it.ö A shiver goes up ShaggyÆs spine ôThat, and their parents completely freaked me out, you think IÆm being protective, you shouldÆve seen them!ö

Fred smiled, thats the Shaggy the gang loves ôDonÆt worry, weÆll save her, count on itö he said, Shaggy giving him a smile as they walk back over to the gang.

ôSo where should we go next?ö Daphne pointed out.

The five looked around, before Velma smiled ôIf I know video games, then we should probably go talk to someone, like that old lady over thereö she says, pointing across the street to said old lady, face covered by a shall. ôExcuse me maÆam, but-ô

ôSurprise!ö the woman, revealing herself to be the Phantom Virus in disguise, interrupted, a smirk on his face, the gang jumping back in shock ôYouÆre at the final level, youÆre in the major leagues nowö

ôEnough games virus!ö Shaggy said, stepping up ôWhere have you put Winnie?ö

The virusÆs smirk simply widens ôThe wild child? Well letÆs just says sheÆs up to bat, and almost at her third strikeö he said, cackling afterwards, firing bolts of lightning at the gang, forcing them to run away.

ôRere rare we running too?ö Scooby asked, nose twitching again, the virus smelt just wrong to him.

ôThereÆs a Malt Shop up ahead!ö Daphne pointed out ôwe can hide in there!ö

ôOr at least find cover!ö Velma added.

ôGreat idea girls!ö Shaggy shouted, the five dashing inside, skidding to a halt.

ôHey, can somebody help us?ö Fred asked as the others caught their breath, poking one of the figures at the bar, only for all five to turn around, revealing the five to be the Mystery Inc gang, dressed in older outfits!

---

Also, I noticed that scent apparently is in the game, given that Scooby and Cyber Scooby sniffed each other for a good 10 seconds.
