Okay, here are three ideas I've had, and I want you peoples' opinions and suggestions on them. Bear in mind that, as denoted above, they aren't meant to be all 'happy-happy-joy-joy', and probably have little of actual battling... but eh, I just wanted something different from the umpteenth 'serious PokÚmon fic!!111'.
Idea #1: The main character fell in love with one of his/her PokÚmon. And by this I mean serious love, not just lust. The relationship, however, is deemed taboo by the society, and thus they have to hide it... but, unfortunately, it is revealed, and they are separated - the main goes to jail, while his/her PokÚmon and their child/children are captured and broken to become 'proper' PokÚmon. Months later, the main character actually escapes, and now he wants his life back.
Idea #2: The main character, one of the playable choices, doesn't have many memories of his father (not really appliable to Brendan or May, but eh). From what he/she does remember, he is a great person, and one of the reasons why he/she took up battling... but, upon a chance meeting, he/she realizes the truth is completely different; maybe he's a coward, maybe he's lazy, maybe he's bitter and treats his PokÚmon like tools... regardless, he's completely unlike what the main character thought. And now he has returned to live with them.
Idea #3: This one is set after the actual canon quests. The main character, at last, has succeeded in his quest, and is now the official champion of the region! ...unfortunately, being the champion is actually one of the worst ideas for a career ever. The main character gets thrown into a deadly game where nobody's an ally, everyone is against him or her, and every next step can be the last one. Includes boring paperwork sections, lots of sex (with either the ex-champion demoted to Elite Four member or Elite Four members), and one of those 'how far can you fall? and how hard will you manage to climb back, if at all?' plots.
So... which sounds more interesting? And why?
