Set Your Emails!

Wound up taking care of it. Chrono, just so you know, only myself and Ero have the ability to edit passwords. Let one of us know if something like this comes up and we aren't already taking action.

To everyone casually reading this: Set your goddamn emails, please. It saves me work, and prevents accidents like deleting the new account before copying its email address leading to the need to contact the TFFer to ask what his email address is.

EDIT: I did, in fact, mean emails. Passwords were the problem in this case, and it could have been fixed by the user if he had set his email!

Well. I can say I've now actually gone over how this site is run and where to ask when I have problems. Sent you the pm, Chrono.

Got the PM on old TFF. After looking at the 'user edit privileges' under my "Mod CP" I have, it looks like I don't have permission to make the needed changes. :mellow: Whoops! On the good side, looks like Wata took care of it.

Yeah, I just found that out. I saw the 'Edit User' like before and just assumed that I could do it too. Never really needed to go exploring the link before. Like Shiro asked, I'm curious. What exactly did you do? Reset his password or add a new email ID ? :huh:

Only just read this and that happened to me. Forgot my password no email so I'm locked out. Well on my computer I'm perma logged in on my phone. Can you reset password please?

I've never really understood how one forgets passwords... I remember them going back some 14 years... I even remember a couple one of my former bosses gave me for his system about 12 years ago...

I tend to wipe out my temp files and cookies and cache every couple days or so, so I'm always entering passwords...

I've never really understood how one forgets passwords... I remember them going back some 14 years... I even remember a couple one of my former bosses gave me for his system about 12 years ago...

I tend to wipe out my temp files and cookies and cache every couple days or so, so I'm always entering passwords...

I've got too many at different sites and locations to remember like that. Barring a few that I type regularly, my password manager helps. (KeePass for those interested)

Depending how you count them... I'm currently on just under 90 sites... Never really trusted password managers...
