Saved. Thanks for the warning, man, that would have sucked. Even if it likely is a dead fic.

And nothing of value will be lost.

I happen to still check the site for updates... though sadly at this late date I doubt it, stranger things have happened.

Actually, if someone here hasn't yet seen it they should. It's one of the few remaining examples of an era when fanfiction authors not only wrote epics (or at least at epic length), but created a web page to display their story to the internet at large.

The Shadow Chronicles as currently existing is still the original page from that era. Most of its peers are gone. Some few were put on new pages, some were reposted to fanfiction.net; the rest lost to all save those private archives of their visitors with the foresight to save a copy.

So go have a look at a time when presentation was as personal as the writing. :mmm:

Silly me, I had forgotten to provide an actual link for convenience sake. Fixed.

If the first few stories doesn't catch your interest (it's Ranma/Akane, I think), you can skip down to the OACDYCSF arc. I did and did not feel like I missed anything, not that I would know since I still haven't read the preceding stories.

Is there a place where it can be downloaded in one or multiple shots, and properly formatted?

What do you mean 'properly formatted' Reads fine to me...

And your browser should allow you to download the chapters. In IE merely right click, select save... tell it where. Repeat as needed...

If you do not like the format... merely bring the chapter up, copy all to clipboard, and paste in a text editor...
