Evangelion Shinji and the Doctor (Evangelion / Doctor Who Crossover)

(Sorry if this has been mentioned before on here. I tried using the search function, but wasn't able to narrow down the results enough to figure out if it's come up or not. But anyway.)

So I have this fanfic I've been working on -- a crossover between Evangelion and the British scifi series Doctor Who. It's appeared on a couple different sites under a few too many different titles. I think it's done relatively well for itself as these things go. Since I hear this forum is where the famous "Shinji and Warhammer 40K" got its start, thought some around here might be interested.

The summary:
Running away from a brutal war he never wanted to fight, fourteen-year-old Shinji Ikari just wants to be left alone when he boards the metro one night. Instead, he winds up sitting next to the most annoying man he's ever met -- a tall, cheerful foreigner who seems incapable of shutting his mouth. But that's when Shinji's existence starts to change in ways beyond his wildest imagination. Because the Doctor is no ordinary madman. He's an ancient traveler of space and time, the feared enemy of tyrants and monsters across the universe... and exactly the mentor Shinji needs if he's going to survive both the creatures hunting him and the shadowy forces manipulating his life.

Yet as the Doctor starts to unravel the mysteries at the heart of Shinji's world, they soon find themselves facing dark and terrible questions. What do the enigmatic invaders known as the Angels really want? How far have the desperate governments of Earth gone to assure humanity's survival? And worst of all, what if there are some worlds -- and children -- that even the Doctor can't save?

Annnnd I'm done. No more ads from me on here, I promise. Curious to see what people think about my takes on the characters and the source material.
