Basically, instead of being in the Archery club, Shiro is a member of the Anime club. More specifically, the anime club from Genshiken. I'd imagine he'd particularly like Shonen anime.

The Anime club decides to stay behind at school to watch a small anime marathon. Once it's over, they depart and stumble across the Archer/Lancer battle.

Comedy ensues.

Well, presumably Shirou would be horribly murdered, and he'd self-ressurrect and summon Saber fast enough to save the rest of them.

The comedy ensues when they meet Saber, or find out about how Sakura's been being raped by her brother. Saber, Archer, and Rider going to the comic convention would also be interesting.

...If 'they' all depart and 'they' all stumble across the Archer/Lancer battle, Lancer would hunt them all down and kill them, not just Shirou. As in, he'd kill them all right away, not kill Shirou and then wait for him to get home and then decide to kill the others (and him again). And I dunno what you mean by 'self-resurrect' when it was Rin who healed Shirou.

It was? I thought it was the Saber's scabbard that did that.

I suppose that Archer might be able to help out a bit, there. If he's a future Shiro from a similar timeline, he might recognize them as his freinds.

Avalon only works like that when it has prana in it, or when Saber is connected to it. Rin's healing may have charged it a bit as well to help along or it may have all been Rin, but either way, without her, Shirou would have died, so it's hardly 'self' anything.

And why would Archer be able to help when he couldn't with Shirou? Not to mention that I rather doubt Archer would ever be from a time line where he went for anime over archery on his path as an ally of justice.

But whatever.

....I really don't see this as being funny at all, unless you find the BAD ENDs in F/SN funny...in which case, I'm going to back away slowly.

I was kinda partial to the Tiger Dojo where Taiga and Ilya were all "Bad Saber! You killed Shirou, what do you have to say for yourself?"

They're anime nerds. They read eroge and hentai manga. Said manga often revolve around RAEP.

Odds are that one of them (probably Madarame or Kuchiki) will make a joke about the subject. The girls would probably not react well.

I'm not sure it's possible to kill anyone from Genshiken. They have anime nerd resilience, and I'm fairly sure anyone from F/SN would drop unconscious after just a few hours of being at an otaku convention, given how taxing to the mind and body it is. :p

EDIT: Moreover, do you really want to run the risk of an otaku Shirou having ANY sort of influence over Saber? The whole Grail War would turn silly in about the same time it takes you to facepalm and say 'oh God'.

Yeah... instead of Servants fighting each other over the Holy Grail, it'll be Servants fighting each other due to conflicting interpretations of canon or pairing wars or some other silly little thing...

Archer: "Say what you will but in the end, Tsuchimi Rin will end up with Asa! It's the anime canon ending!"

Shirou: "NOOOOOO!!! I can't believe that!!"

Saber: "I too share that same belief. If my interpretation is correct, Kaede would be a suitable mate for Rin from her previous experience as his caretaker."

Shirou: "BLASPHEMY!!!"

Archer: "Maybe you'll feel better if Rin started hitting for the other team."

Cue Tohsaka who just appears right behind Archer and only hears that last statement to either (A) smack her Servant or (B) start making out with Saber to cause both Shirou and Archer to go...

"OH MY GOD!!! SECRET YURI SCENE UNLOCKED!!"

Also, there's a good probability that Unlimited Blade Works will be replaced by Unlimited Ripoff Works.

That would actually be pretty awesome, and hilarious.
