Shokugeki no Souma

If it was supposed to be a murder then they forgot to draw blood under the corpse

It may not end up being murder, but damn, they did everything they could to make it look like it was, at least if you just focus on the obvious.

At least the way the knife is laying you can't easily claim the knife was dropped by the dude on the ground.

I'm just glad we're not immediately flying into a new arc

New chapter is up in Mangastream.

Well, we found our culprit already, so that's fine, at least.

And if he's doing Shokugeki's, what does he do to the losers? I mean, they just disappear? Something fishy is going on as well.

They agree to go work for him wherever he lives and are bound by the rules of the shokugeki not to say where they are going.

The weebs are getting worse

Most likely he offers them something they can't refuse and their end of the deal is to just leave if they lose.

I'd be happy to be wrong and something creative was done. This is shonen though.

New chapter is out and it features one of the funniest foodgasms ever.

So from Food Hitler to the Food Underground. Quite a step back but not unwelcome.

Weeb guy is the baddie and his opponent is... Tadokoro?!

Yeah, I was surprised that Tadokoro was the one to step up here. Not that I'm complaining, this is actually pretty good.

Though the existence of good enough chefs from the literal "Dark Side of the Law" came as a surprise, was I the only one to think that Jouchirou might have clashed with these people before? I mean, he does go where ever he pleases and offers his services for...whatever they end up paying him.

I also think they have a very...skewed idea what a Shokugeki actually is. Though how Tootsuki is going to make a group of chef's who make a living in serving food to the shadiest, the richest and the most dangerous individuals in the world to comply to Tootsuki's standard is going to be interesting. Whether it'll make sense is another matter entirely.

It's like Yu-gi-oh, food battles solve everything.
Nothing compares to a children's card game(tm)! :p

Well, Tadokoro sure showed how much she's grown. Let's see if she can impress someone who views himself as the King of the Underworld.

Well, Tadokoro has been making full use of her position in the Elite Ten, and damn, that was both satisfying and amusing to see.

Hey Tadokoro had a chance to show her stuff and she didn't blow it.

Amazing.

Yes! This forum is back, and this series has had some seriously interesting things happening.

First off, Souma's brother. He's definitely part of the family, if the way he was acting out in the latest chapter was any indication.

I'm really hoping that we get some solid backstory for him *and* to Souma himself, because this latest wrinkle popped up a ton of question marks in my brain.

Early bet is adoption and a lot of up close training with Jouichiro.

That is if Suzuki is indeed Asahi.

PS. Shokugeki no Sanji was fucking amazing

Tsk, so he didn't end up being Jouchirou's second son. Bummer.

But he's definitely gotta be something else for Jouchirou to take him on as a honest to god disciple.

...okay, wait for it, I gotta get this out of my system. *Laughing out loud* Goddamn, those last few pages were amazing, but that double page where Erina ran in was funny as hell, especially because of what was being said. *Laughs some more*

Damnit, now I have to wait for the next chapter.

I am quite interested in how this is going to go forward, but I seriously doubt Souma is going to net a win here. And poor Nakiri is still out cold.

Though *why* Suzuki would want Souma's knife? That's going to be interesting all on its own to me.

Wow, they are phoning it in so hard I got put on hold half-way through.

I guess netorare is the spice of life, or something. I'm having a hard time self-justifying any effort to continue bothering with this series.

Well, it's slightly better but it's like "well you only have chronic bronchitis instead of cancer" it's better news but nowhere approaching good.
