Silver Millennium Notes for Dummies

I'm working on a new story idea and I was hoping to get some better facts about the Moon Kingdom. In particular, stuff like politics, general life, the civilizations of other planets like Mars, Mercury, etc.

Also, is there more info on what the Inner Senshi were like back in those days? There seemed to be some bare bones stuff like Mercury still being serious about studies but that's it. Anything on the Outer Senshi (save Pluto since she's more or less the same from that time up to the present guarding those Space Time Doors) as well?

Seiya is who you really need to talk to about this sort of thing. All I remember off the top of my head is that the four inner Senshi were the Princesses bodyguards, Mars had sworn eternal chastity/celibacy/herself to Moon at one point (not sure which but its some combination thereof), Venus was the leader of the Senshi Body Guard in the SM, and the original Princess died by her own hand (using Venus' sword) when she saw her love was dead. Venus at least was still alive at that point and was unable to stop it. Beyond that I got Jack, and if someone who knows better contradicts me I recommend following their advice.

Roughly all I can give you.

Despite fanon, Moon and Earth were the only planets capable of life. Eventually the other planets were going to be liveable but Metallia fucked it up, delaying it. Earth and Moon were forbidden to interact with each other.

Queen Serenity gifted every senshi when they were born a princess title and a castle. Again, despite fanon, their parents weren't royalty. Each castle had a power guardian and the senshi could use it to draw power from it. Pluto was labelled different from the rest of the senshi repeatedly because she had the blood of Chronus in her veins.

Princess Serenity was the baby. The senshi were all grown up when she was born IIRC. Nehelennia cursed Princess Serenity at the party celebrating her birth to never inherit the throne. QS sealed her afterwards.

Chasity thing
Act 36
"Ah!" she thinks. "Flames are flowing throughout my body! This feeling! I was searching for it, this sensation. I had lost my way. I pledged my chastity to Princess Selenity. I'm the soldier of flames! To protect the Princess, this planet, and my comrades."
Outers kept away from the castle and only got to the Moon well after everyone died. Got killed when all 3 reunited and accidentally summoned Saturn.

Beryl was a sorceress who fell in love with Endymion and brainwashed his bodyguards. Venus murdered her after Serenity killed herself.

Thanks for the primer. I do find it funny that the Outer's death was accidental.

I thought Plato's station is deep inside the Moon castle at the Space Time gate.

Any major differences between Silver Millennium anime version and manga? Besides the way the Dark Kingdom war went out?

The Space-Time Door has a entrance in the moon castle last I checked. But it itself is outside of time.

Were we ever given an explanation for the whole Blood-of-Chronus thing? Cause it helps make sense with the whole guardian of time thing, but were there ever any more details than that? Random Time Gods showing up from nowhere is interesting to me.

Small correction: they were older than baby Serenity but not quite grown up. They appear quite young to me: Dead Moon Dream, Page 62

Sailor Venus also was the one to kill Beryl in the past using the Holy Blade.

Chronos....perhaps another name for a mad man in a blue box? Perhaps Pluto's parents were traveling with 'Chronos' when they conceived their daughter?

Nah...be more fun and interesting to make her father Rassilon. Which would explain her decision to protect time, but also give her Daddy issues since Rassilon did go crazy later one.

Nope. All it did was make Pluto much different than the rest.

Queen Serenity is the basis of Selene.

Regarding the door, what limits did it have when it came to scrying and viewing timelines?
