I'm trying to think of what to have happen after the Battle of New Caprica that's been occuring in the story. So far I've got ideas for the immediate aftermath that includes reunions of those on the Pegasus/Galactica as well as with the rescued civilians the Thanatos picked up.

Heading to Earth is a possibility, since neither the 13th Fleet nor the Colonials know the way. The Colonials because they were looking already and the Alliance forces because their charts don't match the universe they're in.

Also I'm trying to work some more of the Colonials into the combat, but it's rather hard since the massive tech level differences makes it hard to write, though I may have some more from Lee and others as I go.

And yes, the GA forces are curbstomping the Cylons because of a clear advantage on their part.

The thing is that I've seen so many fanfics where the BSG runs into another batch of humans who can curbstomp the Cylons with ease. Possibly the one and only thing that was interesting in the 1980 spinoff of the original was that they found Earth and it solved nothing for them (and even that was handled horribly).

If the Cylons don't stand a chance then there's no real pressure and it's what the characters do under pressure that makes things interesting.

The thing with most crossovers with SciFi shows is that most of the other universes are far more advanced in abilities. To be honest the Zerg are far more dangerous than the Cylons and they also have the infiltrator ability with infestation that outclasses the Cylon version because it can be done to anyone. Then there are the explosive infestations and the ones that infest and then grow until they explode out of the enemy.

The Cylons aren't going to be the major threat in the story for a while if at all, they are the first enemy in it and will remain a lower class threat for a while.

I'm working on including the Hybrids into this with the Zerg being under them. I'm mainly trying to work on the timing of it.

Megazone23 has humanity unknowingly living in city ships that are on long circular voyages waiting for the Earth to recover from enviromental damage. BGC is the usual abreviation for Bubblegum Crisis, which if you don't know it is very much a cyperpunk/superhero anime.

I'm considering adding a tiny bit from Star Trek into my fic, namely the USS Premonition showing up after it attempted to return to it's own time in the Trek universe.

Also with my last chapter I have introduced the Zerg into the storyline and how they got into the Galactica Universe along with another Battlecruiser though one that is on it's own (For now anyway)

Uhh... what's the USS Premonition?

It's from Star Trek: Armada, a prototype battleship/timeship developed in a future where the Borg had overrun the Alpha Quadrant and sets most of the games story into motion. At the end it attempts to go home and vanishes. Thing is with it's timeline eliminated, I'd have it arrive in the Skies Below universe. If I use it I'll have it meet up with the Battlecruiser Prometheus.
