A new cartoon show called Star vs the Forces of Evil! start today at 9 pm on Disney. It look like its making fun of Sailor Moon.

Watched it. Surprisingly amusing. The girl's voice was annoying though.

Totally betting that Marco has a hilarious back-story that involves hospitalising his Martial Arts instructor when he was young, explaining his obsession with safety.

I notice that one of the puppies got suck in the black hole in Marco room. I find it hilarious Star has devil horns as part of her main outfits.

It's not that bad. The animation reminds me of the Bad Days youtube thing.

Star's decent in that bubbly insanity kind of way. Marco's insistence on safety interests me too.

It's not a strong opener like Gravity Falls but it is funny. Solid B.

SvtFoE ep 7 Lobster Claws/Sleep Spells

Pretty good. Lobster claws had an awesome moment that showed what happens when evil gets the magic wand. Which says alot about the wand.

Sleep spells does have some psych stuff but the truth might surprise ya.

This show has failed to grab me. I mean, it is okay but it is clearly trying to be the next Steven Universe/Gravity Falls et al a bit too hard.

Huh. I never got that vibe. GF had a narrative and SU needed a few eps before getting lore and tearjerkers.

ALways saw Star as a quaint little parody series. Might get a laugh. Might see something neat but not expecting much.

So...C to B level cartoon?

Newest ep is up. Marco is slowly climbing the Jackie mountain. Good for him.

....there's no way around it....Dexter won...with ease....and was more chilling in one episode than some villains are during entire seasons.

New season began....Star REALLY didn't want Marco to read that section of her Journal....an Bluto received some hell training...and the other half of Star's wand....this could be trouble.

This has been....an interesting season...

Marco....just got 16 years of character development...turning him into a badass adventurer...earning his own pair of dimensional scissors...before returning to earth and his 14 year old body. Thing is...he can't recall his old password...implying he's changed significantly in the interim. Normally this is the kind of thing I expect a show to hit the reset button on...but aside from Marco looking 14 again....he seems to have retained the mental aspects of his journey.
