OK, for anyone who wants to give this a shot:
The Dwarven Race of Azaroth (Warcraft/WOW storyline) are obsessed with finding clues to their past as the Earthen, Servants of the Titans.
The titans, as legend goes, were the makers of the Well of Eternity and other such relics that helped Azaroth become the place it is today.
BUT, what if...the Titans...
were actually the Ancients. The race of beings who created the Stargates in Stargate SG-1.
Now picture if you will...the fact that in Northrend right now there exists an ancient Titan city known as Ulduar. In said place exist aspects of the Titan's technology...stuff is massively advanced.
In one of the Explorer's Society's many digs a strange runed Stone Ring is uncovered alongside a second artifact.
Before the eyes of everyone the gems along the rim start to glow, a wave of something blasts forth and back in making a pool of shimmering water hang suspended within the ring.
Then SG-6 pops out.
