Steam Sales

Frozenbyte Games is hosting a build-your-own indie game sale over at hugeseal.com. When you log in at hugeseal with your Steam account you will be able to pick up to five games that you want to receive discount coupons for. The relevant coupon codes will be added to your account on hugeseal, after which you can redeem them in Steam. There are also a couple of other features, like getting a free game when you've used three coupons, which is cool.

You can find their promo video here and their FAQ here. If you want a list of the games involved and the magnitude of the discounts, you can find that here.

Personally, I'm really tempted by Awesomenauts and Terraria, and maybe FTL.

Happy hunting! ^_^

Edit: URL fixed.

Well, once again a great deal that I already have anything of interest.

BTW, Terraria is totally worth it and even better since the last patch. It's pretty much Minecraft as a 2D platformer. It will drink hours from you like a vampire.

Also, FTL is very management intensive. I like that sort of game, but others should know that you have to micromanage everything. Strategy RPG fans should dig it, but anyone else need not apply. Yet another game you can sit and lose many hours to before you realize they are gone.

Awesomenauts is Epic. Expect to play in shorter bursts. Blow stuff up, play with friends, platform and shoot stuff. Frantic and fun, very colorful, and one of the most awesome theme songs ever [literally].

I can't seem to get to the site. Did they take it down or something?

Edit - Never mind, this network won't allow it to show up.

Well... steam sale has started... some good deals if you haven't picked up skyrim for pc, they're selling the game for 7.49$ but I suggest grabbing the legendary edition for 20$.

I already own 7 of the 13 games on sale right right now so the temptation to spend all my money is lessened. Not sure if that's really a good thing though cause it's only because I already spent a small fortune on past steam sales.

I might pick up Rogue Legacy though.

Yea I'm hoping they'll sale the new Xcom dlc its the only thing I really want from steam atm.

I doubt it. It just came out a few weeks ago. Maybe a 5-10% discount for Christmas, but nothing right now.

This weekend on steam, most of the batman games are 75% off. This includes the new Arkham origins for 10$.

Thief games are available almost dirt cheap on steam. 75% discounts from what I gather.

Torchlight 2 is 66% off for the next 22 hours.

Steam sales just started - I grabbed Mount and Blade and Pirates out of nostalgia - waiting for Dark Souls 2 to break the 50 percent mark and then grabbing it too.

Or Grim Dawn.

Saints Row IV is on a big fat discount.
Totally worth it. The only downside I found to SR4 was that you hit a point where vehicles aren't worth using fairly early in the game.

In all honesty, vehicles don't really feel good. Just Cause 2 ones felt better. On the other tentacle the run/jump/crash into someone's face mechanic does.

Last thing I bought was Transitor. Heard it was good and from the little I've seen, I agree with it.

So my final tally is

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Outlast DLC
Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials
Bitrunner pack
Transitor

Valve must be happy. It will take me more than a year for me to finish all the games that I've bought during this sale.
You play the games you buy in the Steam Sale? What kind of freak are you? :sisi:
