"Well that was unpleasant." Luna spoke in an unfamiliar voice as she struggled to wake herself up. The last thing she could remember was a flash of green light and something about... Mugubees? Something she would have to ask her father later.
"Oi! It's time to get up. Wood is already in the common room yelling about you being late!" A boy she recognized as her friend's brother Ronald Weasley yelled.
"Do be quiet Ronald." Luna replied as she got up in what she now assumed was the 3rd year Griffindor Boys' Dorm, causing Ron to pause in confusion.
"Harry, are you alright?" Ron asked, clearly looking concerned while looking directly at her.
Thinking now that there was definitely something wrong, she paused as if to consider her situation. "I'm fine Rona... Ron. I think I'll just. I'll go see Madame Pomfrey in a bit. Tell Wood that I won't be practicing today."
"Alright Harry." Looking at her strangely, he slowly left the dorm, leaving her alone in the room once more.
Deciding to try and find a mirror, she ran to where she assumed was the bathroom. Once there she found herself staring at Harry Potter.
Ok, here's the idea/challenge. Luna, after being struck by a killing curse, finds herself in the body of Harry Potter. After realizing that she wasn't just polyjuiced into him, she tries to live out her life. She doesn't have to try to impersonate Harry at all.
How she comes to end up in Harry's body is purely up to you. My original thought was that she could have been killed with a killing curse while polyjuiced as Harry causing the mix up.
The story must eventually lead to Voldemort's downfall.
The real challenge I believe would be in trying to characterize Luna in Harry's body since she doesn't actually know really anything about Harry.
It doesn't have to be a serious fic, it could be just a crack/humor fic along the lines of "Oh no! Not Again!". If you really want to go out there, you could even have her try and seduce Luna. It's technically not incest and who can you love if not yourself. What ever suits your fancy.
