Looking over Batman: Under the Red Hood special features, it has a first look at the animated version of the Supergirl reintroduction. So it got me thinking about the story in general (read the graphic novel a couple times now).
My diversion would be instead of Kara's rocket being knocked off course or whatever the explanation was for her arriving 20+ years late she arrives at about the same time as Clark. For the Kents sake have her show up only a week or two after Clark. Now since she's only 15/16 years old what do you think will happen? Would she try to grab her cousin and take him from the Kents, or would she be content to just help them raise Clark as she's dealing with everything that comes with being the last survivor of Krypton (depression with losing everything she'd ever known and such)?
Next question would be is this even a good idea? But it's hard for me to think of anything past the initial idea. Where and what would Kara do after finding out that Clark is in good hands? Would she pull a Superman before he even becomes Superman? Or would she live a life of obscurity watching over Clark, helping him with his developing powers until he decides to go public?
