Sounds pretty good, particularly the arrancar stuff. Since Chad effortlessly defeated Demora with the second stage of his arm, he probably won't have too huge a gap to worry about with Demora at least. Ishida might have it rougher though, he had two stages of his bow to go through to be able to trounce the other guy, and the one he's currently on doesn't have either 1200 shots, or the quincy instant movement tech nor the puppet trick.

Also thought the sword primarily did the stealing of powers, though I suppose that being a fullbring ability makes more sense. Hopefully there's some kind of limitation on it so they can't use it at any given moment they get close. Probably a time constraint or something that makes it difficult to use on enemies who show resistance. Like if they try it on Chad they get punched in their face before they finish. :snigger:

Regardless seems to be shaping up. I'd probably suggest adding a few more 'multiple' fullbring powers for a few of our heavy hitters to show that in addition to stealing shinigami powers they've also been stealing other fullbringers, though that might be primarily for those with absurdly weak powers.

However that said we already have a cannon excuse to upgrade most of them with the example of Ichigos Full Bring. Just make the source of their 'final forms' the stealing of one or more fullbring powers that directly augment their own and your golden.

Jackie for example could have taken that motorcycle power I made up in the thread to explain her engines better than it being 'from Ichigo'. And maybe Yukio also stole the toolkit power to allow his abilities to advance further, or better yet that Mirror power you made to explain his clones shenanigans (You could even twist it so that the mirror translated to the screen power wise and allowed his in game abilities the capacity to take shape outside the game). Or hell, both would probably work better.

Giriko's a bit trickier but we can say he stole powers from an old man or something whose fullbring was a grandfather clock to tie it in further maybe. That and potentially while on his exile hunt he also stolen powers from someone whose fullbring was a radio to explain his whole nob thing in his final form.

Hell, Riruka might work with that umbrella water based fullbring I had if so desired, not directly related but more workable than a sword since she didn't have to kill the person in question after she got the power. Though maybe your Angry Bear Full bring might make it work better, and explain the hulking out feature of her powers. :snigger:

Tsukishima I have no idea about, I know we gave him that sword skill of cut anything, but considering his fullbring is a bookmark it might be a better idea to actually fuse him with the paper manipulator actually, so that ties into his actual powers instead. Certainly it would help the bookmark feature if we don't go with his absurdly hax ability. You'd need a replacement elite, but that likely won't be too hard to cover, given the sheer number of interesting skills we have available at random.

Though more than just one additional power might be an option too for several of these cases, certainly with more than one augment it shows that they've been taking a lot of powers in their wake. Certainly the stealing of Full Brings, even with the size of their group, would be more common than killing Shinigami. Though admittedly a few of the mookier mooks would likely have to have several skills too to make them somewhat of a challenge (And up the number of victims quite a bit), but since they're going to be tossed aside, no need to think on that too hard.

Admittedly depends where you want to go with it. No need to go crazy and give all the elites multiple stolen powers. Just the more dickish ones LIKELY to steal powers along with Shinigami blades. So naturally Giriko, Tsukshima, and Yukio again. :sisi:

So what are we looking at from a plot overview? Rukia, lacking abilities at this point is probably a major sticking point for the whole group dynamic probably. Certainly I had the though that Ginjou, knowing Ichigo's a sub and potentially risky to steal from depending how the mechanics work would take her instead, waiting for her powers to reawaken to take her powers, but then we get another Rescue arc.

Though maybe this time she manages to escape by using what little abilities she has in a sneaky way. Well that and potentially utilizing Kon's aid properly. :snigger:

Do we know for sure that Ishida didnÆt have Hirenkyaku and puppet trick? Until you mentioned it, IÆve always been under the assumption that he learned both through years of self-study after his grandfather died. We never saw it before SS because he didnÆt need it during the hollow bait incident and his fight with Renji was offscreen (where he was outmatched regardless). As far I know, his Sanrei training only involved elevating his existing skills to higher level.

Anyway, his fight with Aisslinger is a toughie. The encounter with the exiled Fullbringers has already occurred and concluded at this point so right now, Ishida's fighting with the Ginto heÆs stored up over the years (which is a lot due to his cautious personality) and his speed tech.* IchigoÆs also in a rather shitty position because heÆs caught flat-footed and in human form but he manages to adapt pretty quickly.

Still, the only one who isnÆt too outmatched is Chad (heh, irony) and itÆs mostly thanks to luck and the arrancarsÆ own sadistic nature working against them. Definitely a ôplay with their foodö moment which ends up backfiring horribly. After that, the protags 'awaken' and take advantage of the surprise to finish the conflict, even if they donÆt get off lightly. The fact that they pull off a win here might be significant during the arrancar arc if they underestimate the enemy because of it.

*The reason he can do this here is because the absorbing reishi (rather than just gathering it) is only necessary for producing weapons, so even without his Quincy powers he should be capable of this as far as IÆm aware. If that's a little too difficult to swallow, it could be that his Quincy powers have been crippled rather than removed entirely, rendering his offensive ability null.

IÆll point out that I am outright changing certain things from canon for the Fullbringers.

The FullstealÆs limitation would likely be the time it takes to prepare its usage and the time it takes for the theft to occur. Fullbringers can normally only fullbring the souls of matter so this takes far more concentration (so itÆs less casual how it was used in canon).

Then thereÆs also the whole Substitute Shinigami concept: Ginjo never was one so the concept is completely unknown to Xcution. Whilst they learned they could steal powers from Shinigami (after learning they could do it to each other), they had no idea a Shinigami could actually give them their power. Depending on how the business with the Exiles/Xcution occurs, itÆs possible that I'll have Xcution initially assume that Ichigo is the shinigami and Rukia is the human.

IÆll probably spend today finalising what Xcution leaders and exiles are fully capable given how much it will impact their actions and the eventual conflict.

Kon has a sub-plot at some point which results in him becoming Don KanonjiÆs TV sidekick. He might be involved with the Xcution business but IÆm not particularly interested in him. I figured this would be better than having him live as a ignored plushy in IchigoÆs house all the time. Rukia will have some investment in the conflict given how both the Exiles and Xcution have acted towards her comrades and humans and I plan to have her go to Urahara for a weapon so she isnÆt just baggage.

Xcution Plot Overview: Exiles arrive in Karakura and start hunting the protags. Protags return fire and cause the exiles to escape. Murders are reported which causes protags to actively look for Exiles. They catch them, conflict ensues and the protags win. Ishida gets blindsided and gets most/all of his Quincy power drained by Giriko but Ichigo returns the favour and destroys his Fullbring.

Some time passes, the arrancar business happens and Ichigo discovers the rest of his friends have powers (possibly, might happen earlier). After that Xcution arrives by following the ExilesÆ trails and scope out the town before making a bid damn entrance. They hook up with the protags, try to get them interested in joining and generally just try to bond. Certain protags are suspicious about their powers, the exiles and bits of info they pick up from Urahara. The offer to join Xcution is refused and thatÆs when shit hits the fan.

A very brief summary of what goes down, so thereÆs a lot of detailing needs doing as well as how it all concludes. But IÆve got plenty of free time so itÆs all good. ^_^

From what I saw, apparently via mastering the glove you are granted the peak ability of the quincy, which I always took to mean that was the point he learned all those exceedingly useful extraneous abilities. Though I suppose the alternate interpretation, while a little handwavey as to why he didn't use it, could work...

Still, with Instant movement and the puppet trick Ishida's got a shot at least. Though that said being reliant only on the containers for survival (Along with admittedly his wire thingy and the spells the containers grant which gives him a decent edge) is going to be tricky. I'm assuming this is the point he awakens the gunset however, thanks partially to Ichigo and partially to his powers being in direct contact with fullbring.

I'd actually suggest the only partially drained route myself, and not just because it's a more sensible way to say he still has instant movement available to him. That way we can also say his abilities are a weird blend of a sort of Full Bring offshoot and what remained of his quincy powers, and the reason he had so much trouble was because this strange blend hadn't stabilized yet. Something I presume the fight fixes thanks to need for survival. :snigger:

Loving the Irony that Chad's likely going to have the easiest time. Granted, it definitely won't be a complete cakewalk, particularly since at this point Chad can only fire so many shots meaning Demora's significantly more of a threat than he was with the second arm. But by comparison he's got a lot less to worry about. :snigger:

In regards to Ichigo's fight we D-Roy, we don't know much on him, but we do know that despite Rukia's LOLPWN, he apparently is a better fighter in the air than on ground. Presumably his strangely shaped body requires a lot of freedom of movement. Since at this point Ichigo could only instinctually air walk and hadn't yet learned how to do so reliably, this likely will be a key factor in their battle.

Also since you seem to want the initially friendly vibe to get going, it might be good to have a sub arc during this point to deal with an outbreak of Huge Hollow appearances, likely caused by the death of D-roy and his gang and their being no longer able to hold back their mindless mooks from going wild. Stronger than regular hollows but not quite menos, this is a concept that was rather golassed over and could be used to full effect here.

After all, what better way to bond and initially show the enemies strength than to have a lot of formidable enemy we don't have to characterize too much since most of them generally appear mindless. We could have a whole bunch of these show up around this point, obviously weaker than D-Roy and his gang but given their numbers and toughness still enough of a threat to need the support of Xcution.

I also had a similar line of thinking to you, that they think Ichigo's the shinigami, but since they're buddies at least at first the truth would likely come out eventually. And certainly even weakened Rukia's spirit ribbon is still likely red. :snigger:

Though it will sadden me that Kon doesn't get spotlight, but admittedly there's already a lot of people on your plate already. Certainly going into Mod Souls deserves a fic more unto itself given how much material is available there. We could have quite literally a Zombie arc with the proper application of these guys. Hell, you could even have the arc start out with the cemetery where his mom was buried being closed off that day due to a mass grave robbery, and one of the bodies taken was his mother's. :ph43r:

Though actually as intriguing as that could be, I believe the Japanese don't actually bury the bodies, generally anyway, but I'd have to go check on that. :hmm:

Core concept looks good, though we'll need to nail down how the fights shape up. A key point to have is a general idea or structure behind the way the plot shapes up the battles so it's not just a big ol' brawl and they just fight because they do. A good concept considering what we have available is a general pursuit going in. One plan I was heavily considering was actually that stealing Rukia concept with the intent to take her powers, and trying to lure the rest of the gang into an ambush by having them chase the Flying Dutchman blindly right into the palm of their hands.

Of course since Rukia is uber important, this moves Urahara and the gang into action, meaning he and Tessai set up a massive barrier to make sure they can't take off with Rukia before the orb has time to be properly sealed. This throws their plans awry and gives our heroes a chance for victory as the boat tries to blast through while they need to gain some time before the heros reach the boat. This makes them send out the mooks in an attempt to stall the heroes and give them time to escape.

But since they blast through the mooks too quickly, Ginjou has to send down the elites to stall for more time till he can break the barrier with the ships weapons. Meaning Rukia's now essentially unguarded letting her spring out an escape to help the others likely, maybe using the anchor to help Ichigo reach the boat, or disabling a few canons in the back so he doesn't get wasted when he tries reaching it. Regardless he finaly manages to succed, but at this point, thanks to the support of his buddies Ichigo manages to finally reach the deck of the ship. Ultimately culminating in that final battle where all this finally comes to a head.

Twas one way of doing it anyway, playing to the strengths of what's available anyway. After all, what's the use of a flying boat unless it's properly used. Can't have it wrecking Karakura either, so the chase is mostly to have all that devastation localized to some unpopulated forested area. ;)

Sudden thought struck me as I tried to consider a way to make Orihime a little more motivated to fight.

You said directly before that you were cutting Chizuru out due to too many characters needing to be juggled at the same time. Definitely a valid point, but at the same time perhaps this can be spun in another direction.

What if she does start developing a power. Nothing special of course, hell, maybe it's not even particularly useful in a fight either due to lack of motivation or skill, or even the fact that she comes upon it a little later than the others and she can't sustain it that long. Regardless her developing the skill really isn't the point in this case.

No the point instead is that, to showcase what these guys are capable of, her power actually is stolen and ripped out of her, potentially the very moment they were betrayed by Xcution. Utilized properly you could actually spin a bit of development for both her and Orihime this way in a non combat related capacity.

And then in a very combat related capacity if Orihime goes off the deep end thanks to this. :snigger:

Well I need SOME excuse for Zekkai to be used obviously. :sisi:

Damn, that would definitely be a kick in the teeth for the good guys.

Something like that would pretty easy to fit in with current events. Chizuru could be with Tatsuki and Orihime during the Hollow outbreak and her spiritual power could develop, allowing her to actually see Hollows and the like. But because she has the other two protecting her, she doesn't awaken her own powers so she's still essentially helpless. Urahara brings her along anyway since she's a spiritual buffet and, after doing his exposition with the other teens, it's decides that whilst everyone else is training their powers, Chizuru is trying to awaken her. Or keep the memories and help cover them for school and their families.

Motivation is definitely a factor since she has no real connection to Ichigo who is the main motivation for the other group members. She's basically just been caught in the flow and tagging along with the rest of them. Her powers would be something relatively simple like...using her hair as a weapon, I guess.

And Riruka could be the one who takes her power or at least has it transferred to her. The ability itself is quite feminine so that could fit and Orihime was meant to be a part of the fight with her anyway. She sees Riruka using said power and flips out. Ironically, other than the trauma of the events itself, Chizuru probably wouldn't all that upset. And with her power gone Urahara can replace the memories (properly rather than the standard modifications) and knowledge so she can go back to a regular life.

I like the Rukia idea but I'm also wary of it. Having two "rescue the damsel" arcs was something I considered a flaw in canon so the only time I wanted that to show up was during the SS arc. But that concept sets-up the conflict the way I wanted it to and having Rukia escape herself is a nice way to resolve it.

The only way that came to mind was that Ginjo figured that the protags were growing suspicion and send out his mooks to catch them off guard for an ambush. Protags realise that Xcution really are bad guys and try to meet up before charging the enemy 'base'. And then Ginjo has a fuck you moment as he flies off with his ship as soon as they arrive. Though I guess that could actually be how they catch Chizuru and steal her Fullbring since she's the one least able to defend herself. It could be that he takes both Rukia and Chizuru, dumping the powerless one before attempting to fly off with the former. :hmm:

Atm, the moment I've been detailing the plot outline for the opening arc so everything gets set-up properly. Though I've just about got all the Xcution fullbrings done so yay me.

EDIT: The hollow hunting sub-arc was also exactly what I was looking for. As it was, the only real way for Xcution to make the protags to less suspicious was to spend time with them and show that they were normal people, working together for some kind of goal (e.g. providing a human force for dealing with Hollows or working to help people with their powers etc.) A scene where they're shown dealing with the captured exiles who attacked the protags might have helped but there was nothing to really cement a bond between them.

Actually I was thinking of something far simpler as a power for this scenario. Regen. Obscenely useful, but on it's own not particularly offensive in nature. Granted, used right you could use it to vastly improve the time it takes to develop muscles, but this obviously won't come to fruition given what's going to happen.

Though I mostly suggest it because it lets Orihime get rather sadistic with Zekkai. :snigger:

As for Chizuru's reaction, I don't know that she wouldn't feel anything from the loss. Granted on the surface she has little motivation to fight, but that depends how you develop things after that first Hollow attack. Keep in mind, that first hollow used Chizuru's body to attack Orihime. Depending on her outrage at this and her own helplessness, this could lead to her wishing to advance a little so she could protect her, like Tatsuki.

Then bam powers stolen and we have a rather emotional scene following where she wonders if she was never meant to be her knight after all. Not Ichigo level's of distraught, but certainly a little banged up about it. Enough for Orihime to absolutely lose her shit if it shows up later.

Honestly though, I'd have suggested Tsukishima steal it personally. If we go with Regen and Zekkai, this lets us get really nasty about this. Or like you said, he passes it on, making sure to specifically make note of how worthless it turned out to be so he was glad to be rid of such a pathetic power against whoever he ends up facing. Certainly fits his trolling. :sisi:

I also agree with you on the Damsel in distress shenanigans, but Canon kind of ties our hands at this point, since Rukia's going to be utterly worthless otherwise without some major support, at least in terms of the final confrontation. Like Quincy she would likely have no info on these guys since even SS has no clue they were stealing powers shinigami and Fullbring alike, and most other ways of doing this would likely just have her regulated to the background. With this option at least she can serve a believable purpose, and considering the motivations of everyone involved, Xcution in particular, it certainly fits all too well.

I would suggest driving up Rukia's involvement in the whole training/building trust part of it to compensate, in particular her interactions with the rest of the squad. Would also help drive the whole 'We'd storm SS to save her part', though most of the major motivation would be because Ichigo would do it for quite a few of them. :snigger:

Glad you like the huge hollow idea too. Always fun to use underutilized canon concepts to your advantage, particular if you can find a believable reason for the change. Which in this case is the fact that D-Roy is no longer holding them back, so they go wild in Karakura. :sisi:

Regen could work. Sensing-type abilities too since it's equally indirect.

I didn't say that she wouldn't feel anything. But as I imagine Chizuru, she's someone who would feel some relief from loss in addition to the disappointment, which could potentially lead to some guilt. When I originally planned to include her, she was intended to be the most cowardly member of the group and would have had the most difficulty adjusting to the spiritual world (resulting in some later character development).

Bear in mind, it's unlikely the characters would face the same hollows since it occurs at a different time and in different places. Though they'll be similarities in their emotional experiences since Chizuru would be the most helpless of the group. She'd probably only join the training after hearing that Orihime was planning to do it, to protect her which would be significant for later.

This power-stealing business could easily have some rape undertones which would actually make it ideal for Tsukishima to be thief. I was already planning a mini-confrontation between Orihime and Tsukishima where she becomes the first person to ever block of his sword. Having him insult Chizuru's power and telling her how he gave it to Riruka instead could easily set up both conflicts.

Yeah, Rukia's gonna have to be bro to have some relevance. :snigger:

She'll probably take on the same mentor she has with Ichigo for the rest of the characters since she has the most experience and would be more forthcoming than Urahara's crew. She'll probably be closer to the girls since we have a canonical precedent with Orihime and I suspect she'd get along well with a tomboy like Tatsuki.

Sensing could work, though it doesn't quite have the same "HA HA I heal from all your attacks because I stole powers from your frien-OH GOD THE SHREDDING" agianst Zekkai. :snigger:

Though admittedly even if we went with that tech that might be a little out of her reach so soon. But the image is so glorious.

I suppose releif afterwards is fine, though you should probably make it more of a 'making due with the cards she was dealt sort of thing. Orihime will likely try to interact with her more after this, much to Tatsuki's dismay. To show that even if she can no longer hang with them in their special power granted circle, she's still important to her. :sisi:

Forgot the timeframe changed admittedly, though honestly that leach fight would have been a beautiful setup for this. Though I suppose there are also other ways to go about it certainly.

Trolltastic Tsukishima is also very glorious. Also liking the whole only person to block his sword thing, that works quite well for some motivation for some serious maiming. Doubly so since the small and quick fairies is probably the toughest ability a cut anything sword would have to face among the group. Though admittedly that depends on what other powers he's stolen too, I still say giving him that notebook or paper ability with a book that you'd thought up would be ideal.

Rukia and Orihime actually is probably the most likely relationship to be forged. Certainly her powers are closest to Kido and Rukia's probably the most skilled among the lot, bar Tessai, to help her move along on that front. Hell, it might be potentially through her that she gets a leg up on the Kekkaishi skills, prior to the SS arc anyway.

And thus Zekkai and shreeding Tsukishima something fierce.

Might also be interesting to include Chizuru in that training, perhaps her regen or sensing ability is based around kido in a similar sense, certainly there is precedent for this, what with that mass location spell used by Isane when Aizen vanished, or healing Kido in general. Maybe because Rukia gets a little attached, this strikes her hard too, and makes her push herself to the limit to break out and ruin these guys day by any means possible even in her condition. There may be potential in this. :hmm:

Ishida's likely to go training alone himself, and I suppose Chad and Tatsuki can pound on each other a bit to get us some early setup for them before the whole Xcution showdown. She could probably survive a few punches, and if he can take a steel beam he can probably take lightning. Certainly the volts Mosqueda was putting off with his spike taser sealed zan didn't harm him much.

That leaves Keigo and Mizuro, and what do you know, there is a pushing kido as well as a teleportation one (Though the later is probably entirely out of her reach). Massive group bonding agogo!

Even if they aren't cannon, what would happen if they encountered the Bount? Because you've turned them into the Bount with different powers. Spiritual vampires that may or may not glitter.

Bount appear to be more about eating souls to fuel or increase the parameters their own specific powers. This is more stealing the powers of those with power via some means and adding it to their own ability pool.

Ironically the Bount are more Hollow than the actual ones with the so called Hollow based powers. Though admittedly I suppose no Fullbringer has probably tried to eat an entire soul, so hard to say how that'd work. :huh!:

Heh, wow. They are vampires, aren't they? I'll have to give one of them a fullbring that turns their skin into sparkling diamond.

I suppose that kills the stray thought I had of a Bount sub-arc after SS to delay the arrancar arc. Given the way they work I could even redesign the Bounts into Fullbringers to make some of the mooks more recognisable. Kinda lazy though.

By stealing from other Fullbringers, they get abilities added onto their own. By stealing from Shinigami and spiritually aware humans, they receive a power increase which improves their existing abilities. And a sword but that may depend on the individual.

Fullbringers eating souls is the same as when a Hollow does it but without the actual action of eating. They use the Fullsteal method to absorb the whole soul t empower themselves, though for the spiritually aware they take the power first to remove its resistance. Eating souls isn't exactly common and simply taking the power of a spiritualist has more benefits.

And before I forget these are the leaders' Fullbrings:
Dollhouse said:
RirukaÆs Material Fullbring is unusual and in some respects resembles a Guardian Fullbring. It allows her to freely stored objects she adores or finds cute in a hammer-space inside her body. Riruka refers to this as an ability of "love," which allows her to draw out the maximum power of anything she falls in love with. To achieve this, she generates a small, heart-shaped "pass" in her hand, which has the letter "R" on it, and then launches it at her target. Once the pass has been attached, she can transfer the target into her with the command, "I permit you." She can eject them from her body whenever she likes, either individually or in a group, and in a fight she can literally shoot them at her opponent as they exit her body.

This is quite weak in itself but Riruka gained a secondary ability by stealing her sisterÆs Fullbring when she was younger which gave her an offensive option. She is able to animate any of her chosen objects and have them act as her puppets. The objects practically become feral in this state, developing physical traits to make their attacks more efficient and often growing in size as the viciously assault the enemy. Despite it helping her become a sub-leader of Xcution, she doesnÆt like using it as make her toys ugly.
Dirty Boots said:
Jackie activates her Fullbring by rubbing her boots together. Upon activation, her boots extend further up her legs, armor is generated on her shoulders and forearms, a scarf is generated around her neck, and a dark-colored hat appears on her head with a cloth hanging in front of the right side of her face.

The strength of Dirty Boots increases as they become dirtier, regardless of whether it is from mud, blood, or any other substance. With them, Jackie is able to use physical attacks strong enough to create tremors on the ground upon striking it.

Her secondary ability is similar to GinjoÆs with it being a different type of Fullbring sealed with her boots. But instead of it being stolen, it was given to her by an ex-boyfriend who died over a year before.á It takes the form of a motorcycle which is able to ride on the air, can produce spikes from the tires and release flames from the exhaust. She is able to fully combine this with her Dirty Boots to create a motorised form which greatly empowers her by producing mud from the exhaust pipe to coat her whole body.
Book of the End said:
This is a two-part Fullbring using both a book and a bookmark as the focus. The bookmark transforms into a katana which is able to cut through any substance without resistance. Regardless of whatever defences the opponent possesses, this is able to cut through them.

The bookÆs ability was stolen from another Fullbring and is able to produce a limitless amount of paper under his control. He can change their shape, speed and direction easily, choosing to make it no different from regular paper or have it as hard and sharp as steel. The elements that would normally render paper useless such as fire and water have no effect unless theyÆre created by a spiritual being. He can change the appearance and texture of the paper to create disguises or fake objects that appear real to casual observers.
Cross of Scaffold said:
This is a cross-shaped necklace which transforms into a broadsword. It sheathes itself in reiryoku which is able to produce an explosion upon impact or charge it through the blade to produce a beam from the tip.

Its second ability was stolen from a traitorous Fullbringer and allows Ginjo to summon the Flying Dutchman. This is a spectral ship with black sails and a dark aura that buffers damage around it that makes it difficult to see at a large enough distance, which is fully capable of flying in the air and at sea and moves according to GinjoÆs will.

The ship is extremely durable and fires massive blasts from the on board weapons at enemies at range. It is also extremely mobile, as though it can be outpaced in short bursts with skilled enough flash step users, for long distances once it builds up speed it is practically unmatched for distance travel. This also makes it useful for carrying a 'crew' of sorts with them along long distances, allowing Ginjo to move the whole of Xcution from place to place. Though damage to the ship is possible, the vessel will regenerate as long as the user is still conscious, meaning the only real way to put it down is to take out the 'Captain'.

This is where the true terrifying nature of this ability lies, everything on the ship is under the GinjoÆs command. Everything on the ship is a weapon that he can take advantage of to fight his opponent.

Ropes will actively move to restrain enemies, cannons will rotate and fire cannonballs at the enemy on deck, the balls themselves can twist and turn to try and track the target, exploding barrels will roll to the target and detonate, weapons from the hull will fly out through the deck and attack on command, the anchor becomes a deadly whip that chases after targets, the sail will detach and obscure the enemies sight where necessary, and even the damaged splinters from the hull will fly at the opponent if Ginjo so wills it, making this a very dangerous ability to combat directly from either range or directly on the ship itself.
Invaders Must Die said:
This Fullbring uses a video game console as a focus. It possesses three abilities in total related to video games and he can materialise a blade; the first being its original power whilst the others came from the spiritual powers of other Fullbringers and Shinigami. The first is to create a pocket dimension under YukioÆs control which can seal people inside and make them subject to his game rules. He can create buildings and objects, alter environmental conditions and produce different aspects from games. However this is useful in actual combat since it is impossible to cause permanent injuries or death whilst people are trapped inside.

The second ability is to create digital creatures within the real world and have them follow YukioÆs command. He can create tracking bugs, holograms, laser-shooting spaceships, matter-eating pacman and falling coloured blocks.

The third ability is to rearrange the surrounding landscape, the environment conditions and even the laws of physics within a limited area with Yukio being at the epicentre. He can literally surround himself in a unique gaming environment which forces everyone around to follow his rules.
Time Tells No Lies said:
The focus is an antique gold pocket watch. When active, a blade and hilt extend from so Giriko is able to use it like a sword after absorbing the power of a Shinigami. He is able to create numbers from the clock face and shoot them as projectiles at his opponent.

Its power allows Giriko to control the time of non-living objects and the only living being he can affect with this is himself. When this power is used, the clock hands of the pocket watch glow and change their position.

ò Freezing of Time û This is able to stop the time of object, allowing Giriko to freeze his enemyÆs attacks in place and render them useless.

ò Reversal of Time û This is able to reverse the direction of an incoming attack to fire it back at the opponent. ItÆs possible for Giriko to use this ability on himself as a type of self-healing, returning his body to the time before he was injured.

ò Passing of Time û This is able to increase the speed of an object by accelerating its time. He often uses this in conjunction with his number projectiles to create a more powerful impact or after reversing an enemyÆs attack. By using this on himself, he can reach speeds that he normally wouldnÆt be capable of.
Natural Order (originally Fullbending) said:
This is an incredibly unorthodox Material Fullbring which uses the world itself as the focus. It vastly enhances KuroÆs ability to manipulate matter to the point that she can freely manipulate the elements of fire, wind, water and earth.

She can direct air molecules to create any and all forms of winds, generating breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes. She can control any type of liquid to move and shape a body of water to change its form and/or density. She can excite the molecules to increase the thermal energy of an object or the air to generate fire.á Finally, she is able to reshape the earth into different objects and constructs as well as change its state.

SheÆs limited by the fact that she can only manipulate the elements within a certain range of herself and canÆt do it to two different elements at the same time. Also, the greater the effect she plans on creating then the more spiritual energy is needed which can make her stronger attacks quite draining.
Light Mote said:
The focus is a crystal which transforms into a ball of light and hovers over his shoulder. When the mote takes the form of what appears to be a red fist behind the user, the user's physical strength is vastly increased, offering a massive boost to physical attacks. When it becomes a blue shield, the user is basically immovable, defences vastly increased to the point where it becomes exceedingly difficult to do any sort of damage and yellow boots vastly increases the users speed, making this a fairly decent albeit rather basic skill up to this point.

However in addition a green heart stage gives the user some fairly basic regen and healing capabilities. A white wing form also grants the user increased mobility, which while not as quick as the users speed state compensates by granting the user flight capabilities. And further still, the Mote can also become a black cloak sort of shape, granting a basic cloaking technique that hides the user from sight and also negates the users reiatsu output, making them basically undetectable via normal means.
EDIT: Tbh, Orihime using her Zekkai (which is fifth Shun Shun Rikka tech here) would be a little too much for her at this point though it could be that the situation results in her having a one-time, early usage. It'd be a perfect finisher for both Tsukishima or Riruka given the way their abilities work.

A sort-of problem I noticed with the Chizuru is that there's nothing really stopping her getting her powers back afterwards which cheapens the drama somewhat (unless you spin it in a not-knowing-what-you've-lost way) I was just thinking it'd be interesting if someone like Chad does a Fullsteal on Tsukishima/Riruka to supplement his abilities with Regen/Sensing and giving a fuck you to the thieves. But then it would be possible for Chizuru to get her powers back either having taking them herself or having them transferred.

Perhaps, whilst Material Fullbringers can steal from any kind of spirit/spiritualist, they can only perform transfers between other Material Fullbrings because of compatibility. Chad's gonna be whipping out his shield medallion and Shibata might become a factor so he would fit multiple types But the rest of the group wouldn't so he could only keep it for himself even if he wanted to give it back. Which could result in a interesting way to cement Chad's bond with the rest of the group instead of just Ichigo.

Aw, not using the bond Material Fullbring for Chad? I was rather fond of that one, particularly since it tied all the powers together. :snigger:

Though I suppose if you go shield for the medallion, which also makes a huge amount of sense in itself, that frees up the right to go into other facets than just the shield. So hard to choose.

Also no Dogs of War? Though I suppose at this early point it might be far too easy for them to get a case of death even with the doesn't want to harm kids part of it. ;)

Interesting you went with FullBend as an actual fullbring rather than a Fullbring skillset, I thought it was a rather good augment to complement them, like Kido and the Quincy spellset. Adds a bit more utility, though admittedly of a far more limited nature depending on factors. Then again Hollows don't really have their equivalent of that so I suppose that way of spinning it is just as valid.

Though yeah, I was under the assumption that powers stolen by material users could only be passed on to material users or in weird cases Human Shinigami like Ichigo (Though admittedly this weirdness could be removed). Hell, passing on may only be viable if the user has stolen a shinigami's power, depending how you work it, adding yet another limitation to it. If they could pass it on to just anyone they could literally make Fullbringers out of normal humans more dedicated to the cause or what have you.

I'm also stunned I forgot that you made the steal ability able to take souls. Derped on my end it seems.

The Bond is pretty damn cool but after the discussion we had on the shield the image just stuck with me. Chad's shield-arm has felt out of place to me for a long while and felt limited in comparison to an actual shield. Then you've got how easily the concept of his grandfather's teaching and defensive powers fits with the medallion and it fits together so well. :sisi:

It felt too early for the Dogs of War to be believable, tbh. The veteran just feels far too dangerous for the protags given their relatively small combat experience. If this was set at some point post-HM or even post-SS, I'd probably go for it. Dogs of War dude feels more like a primary antagonist anyway.

The problem with Fullbend was Tatsuki. She's a lightning user so it feels like she'd be made largely redundant if everyone was whipping out elemental powers. Which is shame since it'd be a damn good way for them to expand their skill sets, especially Ichigo. This way it provides a suitable opponent for Tatsuki since the Fullbender is gonna be lording her multi-elements over her.

I'm not 100% sold on it though so if I think of a good alternative for Tatsuki (again), I could change it back. The Ashura transformation being the most likely alternative since it fits and is more distinct that the other things I'm thinking of. Troublesome business.

I can certainly understand that. Even when coming up with a skill for it in La Muralla, I had to specifically give it a feature to be able to rotate so the shape at least matched how a normal shield would be held. While intriguing, I wasn't totally sold and kinda had to make due. May have been part of what fueled my alternate arms binge a while back actually.

Dogs of war guy is pretty beast, I can see why you'd want him to face far stronger foes before they stand a chance. If I ever get around to something myself I'll have to see if I could squeeze him in somewhere post arrancar arc. :sisi:

Nah, see what I like about FullBend, in theory at least, is that the person in question needs a source of the particular element to actually use it. Can't fire water without a source nearby, can't bend earth in the sky, and... well air can't be used underwater certainly. Elements like fire and lightning would likely be far harder to use since such elements are rarely around. The idea is you bend what's available to you to your will after all. You'd need a skill to first generate them if there's none around, and only after the element is generated can it be manipulated. And obviously not all Fullbring will naturally generate an element.

Though with my Bone Marrow skillset I gave her utilizing blood and bone alike, I don't have to worry about making her comparatively obsolete in say a lightning storm. Or I suppose next to a generator. :snigger:

That's not quite what I meant on the Tatsuki subject. Obviously there's a difference in how far Tatsuki can take her lightning use, but when the rest of the team can use the elements as a general skill, it makes her own abilities seem far less individualistic. It's different from Shinigami's kido which has a much greater variety whilst Fullbending as a whole is elemental. Lightning Tatsuki and Fullbending just don't mesh well for me so it'll likely be one or the other.

For fullbending, fire and electricity would be likely be on a 'higher tier' because the process is more complex if they aren't in the surrounding area i.e. gathering static electricity or producing thermal energy. Though I've just considered it could be possible to use internal body heat or bio-electricity as the source. Perhaps that would be the way it progresses as they gain experience.

Wouldn't be something you could do off the bat and might even need more power to use it. It'd be interesting to have the group making breakthroughs on this stuff as they progress.

Hmm... I suppose I get what you are talking about, I suppose I still subconsciously see Chad as the only FullBringer of the group and didn't consider the case of this being a general skill the vast majority of them could likely use.

Well, this would likely be yet another limiting factor to FullBend, but you could bring alignment into it. Some FullBringers only really have an affinity for a specific element that while they don't necessarily use exclusively, they certainly find it vastly easier to manipulate by comparison.

You could even have a sort of benefit system going for that. Fullbringers who have an affinity for earth, say Chad, tend to be better at Bringer Light via the ground and more able to change the properties of any surface, and even walk up walls. Those with an affinity for wind, say Keigo, are better at Bringer Light's acceleration via the air and could in theory be good enough to make platforms on air similar to Shinigami. And those with affinity for water, say Mizuro (GET IT?!) may be better at solidifying water surfaces to stand on, as well as general motion when submerged, and the good ones may even be able to change the properties to create steam/mist or ice.

Hell, fire and lightning FullBending may even be next to impossible without a natural affinity, at least for general combat. If you can't generate it you're screwed.

That is a tad limiting but certainly possible. Though even without the affinity aspect, it's likely that they'd each have a personal preference that they'd focus on incorporating into their style. Orihime feels like the odd one out here since I can imagine a corresponding element for the rest of the group (except Ichigo who'd probably be a generalist). Perhaps she goes in a different direction with plant growth and manipulation. It's not a big deal really.

If we go the Kekkaishi route with her, she's already got a general skillset that's viable for virtually anything save instant movement. Hell, technically she might as well be a barrier bender with those shiny skills.

And no need to make everyone elemental afterall, just give them each a few techs to help vary things up a bit for certain scenarios. Certainly a few games already gave Chad Earth techs as is without making him a master of manipulating it.

Sometimes a handful of specialized skills makes for a more interesting approach than just saying they can manipulate their element any way they choose. After all if you keep saying that for anyone with an elemental power it becomes harder and harder to make unique skill sets. :sisi:

To FullBend you need at first to FullBring all the mass of element you are going to try 'Bending. And while FullBring seems fairly power-efficient on small scale(all that you really need to utilize canonical skill-set), the volumes needed for full-scale bending are quite different story. There's a good reason why Fullbringers go for developing their 'natural' powers(or stealing them from someone) instead of using basics taken to limit. Simply put - using innate(or stolen) powers Fullbringer will get far better performance-to-cost ratio. Of course, FullBend is very versatile skill and, I suspect, would be used by just about any experienced FullBringer from time to time. It's just not suited to serve as core of fighting style.
But then there is a possibility that FullBend can be taken a step further and be applied... to things like Kido. Remember how Ichigo now can grasp and crush Cero in his hand? Just imagine him throwing it back into someones face. :evil3:

Somehow totally forgot Orihime had barrier tech.

Yeah, adding anything on top of that is unnecessary, and probably not even that useful. I'll take your thoughts on this Fullbending business into consideration. :sisi:

EDIT: Would it work on kido? Thinking on it, would it even be possible to Fullbring fire and electricity when they're types of energy? You could generate it by manipulating matter in certain ways but it might not make sense to pull on the soul of energy.

Though that wouldn't necessarily stop me.

Depends how it works. It being made up of someone elses reiatsu could be a problem. Hijacking someone elses tech should always be tricky. However on the otherhand the attack is quite literally made of souls. Tis how Kido works afterall. And is why Quincy can deconstruct it down and the like. Exactly how Kirge literally ripped Orihime's barrier away from her. :sisi:

Now real fire and electricity is probably another story, however there are likely ways around this even if we assume they don't. For example, Colonel Mustang from FMA is technically changing the properties of Air to create fire and explosions, all he needs is a spark to ignite it and science does the rest. You could also do the same thing with electricity by making a conductive path through air in a similar fashion, or better yet just focusing opposite charges between two points enough for the energy to just leap from one to another.

There's a lot of ways to manipulate such things even if you don't do it directly. Which is why I'm honestly floored exploiting combo attacks with these isn't more common.

Ah, science. I have not missed thee. Apparently the modern understanding is that matter and energy are the same thing. Mass is just how much energy something contains. That's enough for me either way.

Hijacking tech could relatively simple or one of their higher level skills. Or it could be in the middle ground with Fullbringing something like kido beingsimple but when it's being used against you, the difficulty comes from reacting fast enough and directing it the right way. The skill, power and experience of the person using the kido could be an important factor. More food for thought.

It would also make Ichigo's Bankai even more, to quote Gin, 'scary'. 'Cause it should be much easier to overwhelm someones else control of technique if your reiatsu is more dense and potent then their own.

Indeed. :sisi:

It'd be quite ideal for Ichigo since his kido knowledge, both practical and theoretical, is limited. Even if he could learn a number of kido fairly quickly, I can't imagine him bothering to use them in combat until he can do them without an incantation. Taking control of his enemy's kido with some Fullbringing would easily fit his style.

Given how Chad's defensive power will reside in his medallion, I was thinking the progress of his abilities might might occur in a different order this time since it's likely that his shield would appear first.

His material fullbring would move from its initial state to its complete state within the opening arc, completing itself before/during the confrontation with the arrancars.

Then he'd undergo development during the Fullbring arc where he awakens his arms when he understands his need for more powers as well as accepting his inherently violent nature. Possibly with the underlying theme that a shield alone cannot protect others and is forced to be aggressive to achieve victory. Alternatively, this would only bring out one arm and leave the other for SS but I'd rather the character reach a certain stage of development before that point.
