Because the misc thread just isn't enough.

During the Rookie Nine’s fifth year at the academy, their class goes on a field trip to the outskirts of Konoha to explore the training grounds and local terrain. The class is split into groups of three and perform various exercises to promote teamwork. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are one such team.

During the trip, the newly-instated instructor follows after their team with the intention of kidnapping Naruto and Sasuke and preparing to take them out of the village. Mizuki captures them and leaves Konoha proper to meet up with Orochimaru’s followers. But the children put up a fiercer resistance than expected and break free, trying to escape back to the village. Mizuki attacks them in his agitation and nearly kills them.

Instead of cowing them though, the battle awakens the latent potential in each of them. Naruto draws on the Kyuubi’s chakra for the first time, Sasuke rediscovers his Sharingan and Sakura awakens the Wood Release bloodline limit. Being so young and unprepared, the Kyuubi’s chakra runs wild, forcing Sasuke and Sakura to restrain him with their powers when he attacks them as well.

When they are found and brought back to the village, revealing everything that happened, Hiruzen decides that it would be a waste to have them trained like typical ninja at the academy. With a jinchuuriki and two with powers capable of controlling a bijuu, he sees a unique opportunity. He decides to train them himself, making them three of them his apprentices.

And I honestly dunno where it would go from there.

Hiruzen will have to tell all three of them about Naruto's status as a jinchuuriki early, which will have a few changes. Sasuke will probably be less jealous of Naruto's drastically rising power since he knows a big part of it is from the Kyuubi, and Sakura will probably be a lot more respectful to Naruto now that she knows why his childhood was so bad. Naruto himself might be a bit more resentful since his character growth with Iruka doesn't happen, but having teammates who don't hate him for being host to the Kyuubi will probably make up for that.

Tenzou and Kakashi will probably become personal tutors to Sasuke and Sakura to help them cope with and master their unique bloodlines. Hiruzen will probably want to properly train Naruto to weaponize the Kyuubi, so Jiraiya might be recalled to the village for his sealing expertise. All in all Team Seven is going to quickly become major powerhouses with the personal attention of so many elite teachers.

Sakura will quickly have the seriousness of being a ninja drummed into her head so no more play-acting ninja, dieting, worrying about her freaking hair or stalking her crush. If being the first person to naturally awaken Konoha's greatest bloodline since the First Hokage, the personal apprentice of the Third Hokage, and student of an elite ANBU doesn't give her some maturity and perspective then she's a lost cause.

There's no way Sasuke is going to defect in this scenario. Even if Orochimaru manages to apply a curse seal to him Sasuke is going to be so much more powerful than in canon that actually using that seal will be much less tempting. And with Jiraiya around and directly involved with Team Seven, an even stronger seal than the Evil Sealing Method will probably be applied to suppress the cursed seal. And Sasuke won't think Konoha is too weak to make him strong enough to kill Itachi with Jiraiya and Hiruzen directly training him, both of which are strong enough to stand an even chance against Itachi in a real fight.

Naruto though I don't really see changing that much. He'll quickly become much stronger than in canon but I don't really see these circumstances affecting his personality or character growth too much. He doesn't have Iruka as a big brother figure but he's still going to have precious comrades who care about him, except this time they know his secret and accept him despite it. Maybe having his godfather around earlier would make him even happier. Hiruzen's influence and tutoring might lessen his book stupid and hyperactivity a bit. Heck maybe Hiruzen will even tell Naruto about his real parents.

A lot of Sasuke's jealousy towards Naruto could be blamed on how he went from zero and hero in the space of the few months. Here, he wouldn't even know Naruto. In my head-canon, fifth year was the year Naruto and Sasuke were finally put in the same class and had that sparring match, so they would barely know each other at this point.

Same with Sakura, really. This could easily be before she develops a crush on Sasuke or Naruto develops a crush on her, and their canon relationships are established so they'd have something of a fresh start here.

I wonder, if Hiruzen's telling them all about Naruto being the Naruto Jinchuuriki, if he'd go even further and tell them how their bloodline limits would be able to restrain or control Naruto's power. Lay on the idea that these guys are practically born to be a team to promote unity. It could be a large part of their education; learning how many there are, what they look like, what they can do, which villages have them and who are their hosts.

Hiruzen's going to really want to enforce a sense of patriotism for these three, more so than the norm that would come from living in Konoha and being trained as a ninja.

Wouldn't this mean that if Sasuke and Sakura had a kid he/she could awaken the Rinnegan?

Maybe, maybe not. Not like we've ever seen what happens when any of these clans interbreed.

In the 80+ years Konoha has existed at least some Senju and Uchiha must have intermarried, but so far as we know no super babies of doom were born from their unions. But then again none of those Senju had Mokuton. Maybe if Hashirama himself had married an Uchiha their child could have become the next Sage of Six Paths, so maybe Mokuton!Sakura and Sasuke could do it too. We just don't know.
