"...Iieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Ms Sara Bellum's shriek filled the Powerpuff Girls room from the Clown Phone.
The Powerpuff girls floated in mid air, their eyes blinking slowly. This certainly wasn't the usual call from the Mayor.
All three of them stared once more at the clown phone and the dropped receiver lying there on the table beside it.
"Blossom what just happened?" Bubbles asked confused.
Buttercup on the other fingered a mallet that just suddenly appeared in her hand, her tomboy sense was telling her something icky with boys had just occurred.
Blossom on the other hand was brushing bright red. This was exactly like a scene out of those novels she had found in Ms Keane's desk and read one day. Okay once a week but that was it honest.
"Ms Bellum's not in any trouble is she?" Bubbles asked when Blossom refused to answer and Buttercup kept fingering her new mallet. "She did scream after all."
"I think its just because she had something like an," Blossom floundered for a moment to try and find the right words. "An ice-cream headache. Too much of a good thing at once."
"Oh," Bubbles replied before carefully putting the phone back on the hook. "Just a false alarm then. So who's up for ice-cream? I want vanilla."
Blossom's blush turned crimson at that, and Buttercup's right eyebrow began to twitch.

"Oh James," Sara said happily. "Now let me return the favor."
Cue Bond Trumpet riff

Nothing after all said it had to be the girls involved with the plot device.

Hmmm... I could work with that. Tony Snow and Bruce Banner meet incognito on the day the Wii launches in line. Being super-geeks, they start discussing the technological innovations the Wiimote makes possible (read: they start fanwanking about controlling Link's sword "as never before!" and playing FPS').
The store opens, the crowd rushes forward, Bruce and Tony are shoved aside. Bruce makes it to the display and grabs one. He turns to make the purchase, only for Tony to grab it and buy it. Trying not to lose his cool, Banner goes to get another... and the store's out.
