Okay... Umm, well in a situation where a girl shy guy is around a pretty girl, he's going to strike up a conversation. In manga/anime, this inevitably leads to him getting his ass kicked.

Watashiwa could talk to her, only for her not to notice his presence in any way, shape or form. Ouch, BURN!

If Watashiwa is within 30 meters of her, she can't help but notice due to her passive mind-reading, or would Wata be immune?

Hm...

I'm still trying to think up a replacement name for Idyllica, because it sounds really weird.

Watashiwa would be immune. His mother in this game is a massively powerful esper, whose specialty is mind-reading.

Watashiwa has a very impressive natural resistance to mental intrusion. This is unrelated to any actual psychic power, which is in fact a plot point.
