TFF: The End of the World-(Organizer)

Well we'd get the epoch 2 back if we went back to traverse town, and we'd have the option of actually doing something with Winter and the Incredibles World. Though I'd miss the link to Alexander (had stuff planned, at least I think I did, it's been a while and I lost those notes due to computer trouble.) I'd be fine with going back to traverse town or doing a fresh start.

I had no plans. I went with the flow. I had fun messing about. The bracer orignally was only supposed to be one of those element things you get from beating a boss. Till I got an Idea.

EDIT:
Which visit to Traverse Town?
Also Should we write down what we thought we had for that time Shade?

Well..I was wondering..Are we going through the "Heartless first appearane on Earth" bit, until the world ends, or are we just starting in the aftermath?

I think we'd do the first appearance if we did a restart. It is essentially how we came up with starting gear for our first worlds, said starting gear being things you had on you when you were thrown through the dark corridor/G-space.

Well, I was thinking about starting over from just when we ended up 'castaways', but maybe a complete reboot from the very beginning would be better, and allow the new people some chance to play in that terrifying realm where reality is coming undone, and the world itself in disapearing from underneath your feet.

...

That actually sounds like a lot of fun to me... I kind of enjoyed the combination of FREAKOUT, improvisation, and just plain fear and chaos that the Heartless invasion initially caused.

Anybody else have any suggestions on when they want to start over from?

A link, to the startover point would be nice, but if you can say the event, I can work from there. I was thinking maybe just after the failed Sidhe retrieval mission might be nice, because we'd have a common goal there: To get back one of our own.

Might as well start from the beginning.

Then let us witness a rebirth from oblivion and begin anew. In other words, let's start from the beginning

I still won't mind either way, though starting at the failed retrieval you still wouldn't have everyone, I actually remember berserking and that I ended up barely following them into the dark corridor.

A restart at the beginning would be awesome. I think that the reason we petered out was because it got...easy, I suppose. If we never met up, but instead traveled on our own, while leaving things to help with/cause trouble in the worlds, that would easily keep up with the suspense.

And of course, the mics have got to go, in my opinion. It was fun and all, but it'd be more suspensful that way. If you have a mic on you, there's no reason to post. On the other hand, if your laptop batteries were to die out or something, then the others will be freaking out when you stop posting.

On the other hand, being able to constantly find time to post during something big is a little annoying. As is getting too powerful. Swords and guns work against the Heartless, and being able to use magic and the like breaks immersion, and the feeling that we're in big trouble. After all, being able to summon fire at the fingertips is like getting a Shotgun in Silent Hill. Yeah, it helps, but it's not as scary or interesting when you can kill most everything.

My .02 cents, so take what you will.

Say are we going be using the same format as before?

And what shall we call the reboot when it comes up?

I'm All for this, though please remember the rules, only Disney Worlds are allowed.

Though you can fudge it a bit if you want, the world I landed on first is a result of that. Disney owned the English dubbing wrights, atleast at one point, that was enough.

OK, then. Though, don't forget, I think some of us DID land in non-Disney worlds..Anyway, Shaderic, should this time around, Sora, and Sora ALONE(AKA none of us) have the Keyblade? It'd make some sense, in my opinion...

Hmmm, Rag-tag Hope?

Shaderic

Alright. Standard RP format, back to the beginning, and lay off the powers.

Twinblade makes an excellent point. I think it'll be more interesting like that.

Now, the name... Rag-tag Hope...

I like it. B)

So what should be the power restrictions then?

Also, should we make a new organizer thread for the re-boot?

Could take the sort of approach of DnD online has to magic/abilities. Semi powerful but once you exhaust your mana in any given battle/mission that's it it doesn't come back on it's own without hours/days of resting.

I.E.: You might be able to fight one battle with only magic and barely win at that, but now you've got nothing left for the next seven or so concentrations of Heartless that are between you and a safe area.

So it's more like you have a certain amount of times you can cast a certain spell within a day. I could live with that, What's the rules on something like Babelfish or that spear or the bracer?

DrTempo

Good idea...

Also, Shaderic didn't answer my question if Sora would indeed have the Keyblade(AKA, from his POV, we'd be NPCs during KH1's events.)

Weapons and armor act as normal equipment but have a certain number of charges for special effect/abilities before they're either used up and destroyed or can no longer generate that effect for the day and have to recharge.

Babelfish... if it is what I think it is, perhaps it feeds more off ambient energy and may not function at all in places like the corridors of darkness.

Remind me what those items do again?

@Tempo

Might be something like this -others having keyblades

Babelfish is translator, The spear comes back when you throw it, and the bracer absorbs fire damage

GhostElder

Lesser effects like that might just happen.

As long as there's ambient energy to power it Babelfish works, or if it's a actively cast spell maybe 10-60 minutes per cast

For the bracer, as long as the fire hits the bracer perhaps?

And the spear will come back as long as something isn't in the way.

Yep

It teleports back

Ok the spear could be a little much in some situations, personally I'd put a set limit on the number of teleports per day, though I don't know that I'd throw it much anyway.
