Name: Vex
Age: 20
Gender: Male, Heterosexual
Species: Human, however he has been saturated with Feral, Beast Energies, which has caused changes to his appearance, as well as increasing his physical abilities and senses to superhuman levels.
Affiliation: Although more neutral in nature, he has developed a liking for the people of TFF that he has met and interacted with thus far. He is also aligned with his home world of Twitch.
Appearance: He stands a full height of six feet, with a lean, athletic frame defined by a light muscle tone. His hair is a rich, jet black color, and frayed back into a somewhat spiky and decidedly wild styling. His eyes are a dark blue coloration normally, but are defined by a blood red rim at the edge of the iris, and his canines have been enlarged into large sharp fang-like teeth.
However, it is notable that aggression, adrenaline, and other similar alterations in his psyche will elicit a change in his appearance. His eyes will slit, and the entire iris will bleed into the same blood red coloration as the rim, his fangs and claws will enlarge further, accentuating his feral appearance.
Attributes: Due to the saturation of feral energies, his physical abilities have all been immensely increased, including his strength, speed and durability. however, one of the most drastic enhancements is his ability to heal, which has been increased to the level of major regeneration, he is able to heal even the most severe damage within several hours.
He also possesses extraordinarily powerful senses, including all five of the normal human senses, as well as the ability to filter through the immense amount of information they provide. His fingernails are also large, sharp and durable, being redesigned into makeshift, and functional claws, able to be used in conjunction with his fangs as natural weapons.
Powers: Vex possesses two real abilities, both of which are based upon an aspect of light. They are based upon mirroring, and speed in it's very essence, both of these two sources of power have been revised by Vex into two original abilities, then revised again, giving him a total of six techniques to use.
Note: Vex is a melee combatant, and possesses no ranged abilities
Mirror Clone, His original Mirror technique, the ability to generate clones of himself, built entirely from energies. They are, in fact extremely complex illusions, although do not be fooled, they possess all of Vex's physical attributes, all of his strength, and all of his speed, giving them a very real ability to do damage. However, as they are simply complex illusions, they also possess no durability whatsoever, any damage or force exerted upon their forms will break the illusion, and eliminate the clone. Vex is also capable of dispersing his clones by the use of commanding the energy he infuses into them.
Revised: Mirror Force, An offensive technique, instead of creating a full, independent clone of himself, he instead creates many copies of part of himself. By layering these many copies over the original part, and holding them all together, he is able to use them all for just a moment. This creates a multiplicative effect on his strength, allowing him to use the force of many attacks, performed all at once. However, due to the strain of manipulating his energy in such a way, the technique unravels rapidly, and cannot be maintained more then a moment.
Revised: Shimmer Blade, A logical jump from Mirror Force, using the same basis of layering copies to increase an effect, he instead does the same on an inanimate object within contact of himself. Layering each copy over each other, and forcing them all to vibrate at different rates, he is able to create an insanely sharp energy wave around the object itself, this also has the effect of increasing an object's weight. This technique is most often used on his Chain spears to create shimmering blades of energy, or spinning energy disks.
Light Dash, The original speed technique, by manipulating his Aura into a compressed layer of energy clinging to his body, he is capable of accelerating to a speed equal to light for only a moment. Now achieving such an absurd speed is in itself extremely useful, as it allows extremely rapid movement both in and out of combat. However, a notable downside to this technique is that while moving in this stream of energy he is unable to attack, or interact with any other physical objects, or the force exerted upon his body could tear him apart. It is notable, that similar to his Mirror Clone technique, it is a very easy technique to perform, with almost limitless value.
Revised, Flash Shockwave, a simple revision of his Light dash technique, however, the difference created is very impressive. Unlike the quieter Light Dash move, his Aura is not kept in a quiet layer, and will violently flare around him, this creates a visible corona of energy obscuring him. This Corona of energy creates all the difference in the move, while normally he will simple move about without any affect on the world, this energy will create a massive force, creating a jet stream along his path, pulling and destroying. This move requires much more effort then the Light Dash move, as he will constantly lose energy through the path, exponentially multiplying the energy usage.
Revised, Split Second Taking Light Dash a step further, instead of forcing all of his energy into a compressed layer along his skin, he pulls it into his body, compressing his entire aura into a tiny spot of energy at his navel. This increases his personal time rate by an absurd amount, creating the illusion of stopping time for him, and him alone. The downside of using this technique, is that the immense energy requirements disallow him from using any energy whatsoever while he performs it, limiting to his heightened physical abilities. It is also highly strenuous to maintain, limiting his ability to use it due to exhaustion.
Frenzy, His single most powerful technique, normally the beast energy saturating his body lays in a semi-active state, keeping his body enhanced perpetually. However, using this ability fully awakens this energy, this causes all of his physical ability to triple in power. This includes his feral instincts, making him far more primal in nature over the duration of the technique. However, the use of this technique carries a tremendous price, as his energy must hibernate afterwards, rendering him unable to use any of his special abilities, rendering him a baseline human for several hours as he recovers. The normal duration is roughly thirty minutes.
Equipment: His clothing is designed to provide protection and comfort, wearing a thick woolen shirt over a light, comfortable undershirt, his pants are similar in design and thickness, held up by a strong belt. He wears a pair of fingerless gloves on his hands, made of what seems to be leather, and a pair of thick combat boots on his feet, with hardened metal inserts in the sole for protection. He wears a thick trench coat over his body as well, reaching to the ground, it is made of a thickly woven kevlar material, with tiny armored inserts throughout to increase it's durability further.
He keeps a powerfully built combat knife hidden in each of his boots, and a third set into a sheath attached to his belt.
His preferred weapon however, is the pair of Chain Spears he possesses, they are usually strapped into a holster set onto his back in order to carry them comfortably. Each spear is roughly four feet in length, and made of an unknown, but incredibly strong material, at one end is a sharp metal blade, and at the other end is a metal ring set around a hilt bar. Attached to the opposite end of the ring, is a long, thick chain, leading off to a second pair of rings, large enough to grab with his hand, or slide over his wrist, they are generally secured to his back with the spears.
His jacket possesses an array of pockets both on the inside and the outside, the following is a list of what is hidden within.
1 Pair of Sunglasses
1 "Indiana Jones" Hat
1 Copy of Shonen Jump
1 Magazine (Evisceration Monthly)
1 Pack of Matches
1 Gameboy DS, W/ Tetris
1 Ipod
CMPS Record Books - Stolen from CMPS
He also has a highly durable Data Pad, which he is able to use for an array of purposes, most often then not, involving his home world, from contacting them, to controlling the technology.
History: Vex is not from the world of TFF, nor is he from any neighboring worlds in fact, you see he was born upon the world of Twitch. Twitch is a world filled with combat, and combatants, battle is almost a constant, and the very nature of this world turned off all but the most stupidly foolish, and those were dealt with nigh instantly after being caught in the crossfire.
The planet itself is divided into an array of regions, divided again into two types, Combat Zones, and Safe Zones. The Safe Zones are the areas in which cities and living arrangements are build, it is where children are raised, and where the more passive citizens live. The Safe Zones are each protected by specially built force shields, which freely allow passage out, but passage in is allowed only through designated gates.
The world itself is actually much more advanced then it appears to be, with a grid of specially build Satellites encompassing the world, allowing a complex system of resurrection for those killed in battle, allowing limitless usage of respawning. The technology for both fight, fun, and utility is also similarly increased into near, and far future levels compared to most other worlds.
Recently however, the world has pulled into a rare time of almost universal peace, as most everyone is taking some much needed downtime from battle. While normally, this would suit Vex fine, unfortunately, he was forced to sit out much of the fighting earlier on, and instead of simply resting in one of the livier cities, he decided to take a vacation. He loaded himself into a Soldier Pod, and launched into the infinitum, and through the use of the Hyperion Accelerator, the trip to TFF City was completed in little longer then a day.
He also decided to bring an Extra Respawn Satellite from his home world, still tapped into the grid, this allows him a form of invulnerability, provided it remains functional. No matter how he is killed, or how many times, he will come back. However, the satellite is still highly inaccurate, and will only deposit him in a general area, instead of the exact location of his death.
Through the use of his Data Pad, he could scan others with the satellite, loading them into the Dead-Net, and allowing them to respawn as well. It is unknown if he has done this to anyone yet.
